I got the nebula awhile back thanks to you and it has been the answer. Really solid, and I appreciate the advice! Also, I bought a glove to hold it xD might want to consider one. I've considered wrapping the base with a boxing wrist wrap to keep it comfy (while still allowing it to extend if necessary.) The glove seems to work best for now though! Thanks again!

I bought the Sirui based on this channel, and have found it brilliant for my desktop shooting as it's a so stable because of the extra weight but still useful when shooting with the SL2/3 - the additional weight acts to counterbalance the heavier camera. Mind you I'm a sucker for the anodised aluminium look as well.

I am an ultralight long distance hiker and vlog my hikes on my channel. My needs tripod wise are different and I generally go for the lightest option I can find that is capable of securely holding an osmo action. I own 2 of those Ulanzi models, and yes... They ARE glorified gorillapods. Entirely too heavy for what they are... I am currently using an Ultapod 2. It doesn't offer the reach that you desire, but it is extremely ultralight, and strong enough to support a small action cam for those walk away shots and for getting timelapses. It's also has a velcro strap so u can mount it to things. Thanks for the content. Your channel is one of my favorites. 😁

Thanks for the review. Got a Ulanzi MT-16 for my osmo action and it works great so far, super light and compact. See what you mean by not being suitable for a mirrorless though. I tried it with mine and, well, no. Great little tripod though. Anyway thanks again, always enjoy your videos.

I have the MT-08. It's comfortable to hold and the weight distribution feels nice.

Not a vlogger so The MT-29 looks great for my set and forget GH5 videos (maybe not) in windy conditions because it does set so low. It might be slightly lighter than my Suri. I do long hikes so the 2nd tripod has to be compact. The 3rd is the tiny Manfrotto for the GoPro. I can't kill that thing where as any other Manfrotto's I've ever had they killed themselves rather quickly. How do you like your Big Berkey water filter?

Nebula tripod is EXCELLENT! Agree about the large locking collar, though. PITA $35 Boya M1 Pro lav mic is astounding. In high winds yesterday plugged into my Samsung S-20 I got perfect audio. Deal of the century.

You will DELETE me from the internet but i have to tell you: Hot Shoe vs Cold Shoe It is called “hot” because it has electrical contacts that let it send signals from the camera to your flash. Meanwhile, a cold shoe is a receptacle that in many ways, looks exactly like a hot shoe. But the difference is that it often doesn't have any electrical contacts to trigger a flashgun.

I have the Iggy by UK company Three Legged Thing and it's an excellent mini tripod which I preferred to both the gorillapods and the little manfrotto one. The Iggy comes with screw thread and gopro adapter and is good for up to small DSLR/mirrorless

@@cameraconspiracies Thanks. There are apparent knockoffs of this tripod which cost less than $30 US. I believe one is by Kingjoy. I wonder if wrapping the individual legs in wrapping tape used for tennis rackets would help make them more comfortable to hold. These grip tapes even come in leather or fake leather.
