06-10 is my favorite modern Dodge Charger with the 6.1 HEMI. You can’t beat that 6.1 especially with the endless mods you can do to it. It’s a true muscle engine hands down Bro.

I own a 2006 R/T. One thing I will say about the exterior of the these chargers is that 2006-2010 has the best front of all chargers while the 2011-14/25+ has absolutely the best lights.

The 2015+ are nice but they gave it softer lines but i understand because they had to get with the new automotive industry styling queues. 2006-2010 for me. I have an 07 rt and you're right, with it dropped and dark tints it looks as mean as it should. I have mine dropped with the 5% tints and changed the grill to a billet grill. Really changes the look. And just to add, planning on converting it to a 6.l since the 5.7 will take to much money to get the horsepower I want. Continue giving good continent my guy.

The nicest looking modern charger ever to me was the 07 daytona sublime. When those came out i was 15 and they was a huge deal. They hold a special place to me. The purple 1 and the yellow 1 was head turners too. Then the challenger came out and it all changed. The 2011 srt8 was the meanest looking charger hands down. I do not like the 15 and up chargers at all. They look like girl cars and for some reason look smaller

I have a 2016 Charger Scat Pack. But, I'll say the best year is 2018 and up. They have the better door panels that.... I'm guessing... don't peel. Also, the android auto is amazing. I would like to upgrade my 2016 to the newer Uconnect with Android Auto and Apple Car Play

I had a 10’ charger srt8 and now I have a 16’ charger SRT. If you’re into technology I’ll say 15’+ but if you want raw power/unique and rarity I’ll say 10’ . I sold it in 2015 and till this day i want one and get jealous when I see one in the streets.

@@hemidreamz1620 You can , in theory. But it totally doesn't worth to buy 2011-2014 R/T and do trans swap - absolutely no reason to do it. It shifts speeds a bit more smooth than the 5-spd NAG1, and the car will be a bit faster on the drag race. Instead of this, more simple and reasonable to find '11-'14 SuperBee SRT or SRT 392.

I am looking at getting a blown engine 392 and swapping it with an Arlington with all the forged and borded stuff and just putting a turbo on a 426 but I wanted to keep pushing the rt but seems like it might be too difficult but thanks for your help 🙏🏾

I had a 2006 SRT from 2009 to 2015. I loved that car! I traded it for a 2016 challenger SRT 392. I wish now that i had kept it! I now have a 2017 SRT Hellcat.

Mine was an 09 R/T so I am partial to that body style,but those years to me are just a better looking car,maybe it’s the lines vs the newer years lines but take a 2010 SRT and put it next to a 2020 hellcat charger and the SRT just looks so much meaner with the factory hood and spoiler and those bad ass wheels,

I originally wanted an RT , but for $3,000 more it was worth it to get a scat pack. (same options on a RT to make it equivalent to a scat pack.) I have a 2024 RT RWD Max, that I put $7,500 in to add 106 hp to run with the Skat Paks. Currently have rwhp426, dyno tune, cai, kooks long tubes with full exhaust and stage 2 comp cam. Love those sksts but their bare bones...no navigation, cloth seats in most. I have every available option on mine. Adaptive cruise control, heated, cooled seats with dual lumbar, heated and cooled cup holders, leather interior, sunroof, full navigation.

A common complaint that fans of the previous gens had regarding the 2015 is that it was soft looking in the front. They eliminated those angled, angry looking headlights from the first 2 gens. However, the 2015 gen is such a better car from a performance standpoint - the engine options, the 8 speed transmission, the adaptive supsension, etc. Just so many improvements that it's really no contest as to which is the better overall car.

I like the older the older 2006-ish era body style for the same reasons you mentioned. Plus for the guy getting into the game on a budget, can turn wrenches and wants to do some mods to get into the 400hp range you can't beat the bargain. Still even in today's climate 400hp range is still fun and it will still sound good. Plus they kinda seem to have that classic hotrod chopped top look.

my first car is a 2010 charger its only a 2.7l v6 but its what got me into cars and made me a charger guy and i love the 06-2010 body style i love them all but since i started with it i love it a lot hopefully i can do some upgrades to if or even engine swap it later on

I have an '07 SRT8 black on black and I LOVE IT! I would love a 2010 model just for the stronger axles and a legit LSD vs. the ABS-based traction management in the '06-'08. If I could just have the new 8 speed trans and a Getrag in the rear, it would be my ultimate charger.

@@RTLife sometimes you hear people say " Everybody has them so they're played out. " You shouldn't care about that anyway but it's so easy and inexpensive to make it yours. I had to settle on white knuckle, which made me want to get black wheels. Then once i went black wheels it made want to wrap my spoiler matte black and now my ride looks different and better without spending a lot.

I'm admittedly not a big fan of the pre-15 looks mostly because I don't like that giant mouth on the front, but I like the 1st gens over the 2nd gens. I get excited seeing 3rd gen/'15+ on the road though. I drive an '18 Charger R/T which I absolutely adore. I should add though that I got rid of the 3 piece spoiler for the Hellcat style one and lately have been really wanting to switch out the front & rear bumpers and side skirts for SRT style ones, though money needing to go to other things has put the kibosh on THAT for the foreseeable future, hahaha.

Put a Cam in that Bitxx. I recently ( Jan) purchased a stock 14 RT Max, $7,500.00 and 106 hp later, I'm running with the 392's... Used to have a 06 300 SRT8, bought my RT, but missed the power of my 6.1...so I turned into a 6.1 and then some... I'm at 426 wheel with a tune, cai, kooks long tubes with full exhaust and a stage 2 comp cam...

When I had 6.1 (which I created this channel for) I swore it was everything, then I got the 2014 SRT and that 392 just gets up I raced my buddies tuned 6.1 and I beat him. I raced a stock scatpack and we evened out at 175mph beating me at half car length. The 392 engine is just the best

2011~2021 is the same gen….2015 they just refreshed it…..that 8spd made that car awesome but if I can take the drivetrain from a 15 and put in a 14 I would be happy

Great vid.. although I got rid of my 2014 RT Road and Track, still turn around when I see a nice charger.. hemi’s are taking over I’m telling you.

I just got a 15 R/T in b5 blue. Really want to spend time on the aesthetics first when I'm modifying this throughout the years. I really just would like to know where you got your spoiler from lol it's awesome

11-14 are mean lookn and for me the best gen i got a 14 Rt
