Just in case anyone looking at this is a modder: rapid looting mod. Make a mod that, when you scan an entire area, it’ll bring up an inventory menu that you can loot from, granted there are no traps or enemies in the area so it doesn’t completely negate puzzled

Thats how looting works on controller. You hold "a" and have a circle around you and anything in that circle shows up in a menu that you can then loot.

Love cheaters ring! Using the mass fly for traversal is just so satisfying. Less chance of other party member being left behind because they somehow couldn't jump the smallest gap haha. Sad that the equipment chests aren't complete. They didn't have sickles when I wanted to use the wavemother set

Yes so true the mass fly helps a LOT especially with having all companions with you. There is a mod on PC that increases their jump distance when they get far away from you but this works even better

I used the cheaters to spawn a katana on the nautiloid, and took it off, and put it away. I just wanted the katana. It's officially the best mod for me until they get more katana mods. I'm basically using it as a "choose your style of starting weapon" mod

One caveat from the armors available from the Cheater's Ring: it doesn't have the weapons and armors from the Dead Three Chosen. So you can't get the dagger and armor form Orin, Gortash's drip and bracelet and you can't get Ketheric's Armor.

Please make sure people know that if you download the level mod where you can go passed the level cap that when you use the mod, the game glitched and will pnly let you use the first four shape shifting animals as druid and you dont unlock the dino, elemental spawns etc. unless deleted

Playing through the game with act 3 armor and weapons is the closest thing we’ll get to ng+ And it really doesn’t break the game like you’d expect, at least on tactician and if u don’t use certain legendary items, like the duelists prerogative for example is a little too op so I stopped using it, but me using all the best act 3 monk gear and going four elements is great

I was thinking this morning: with all the jew races (ex: kobolds) players can use as their Tavs, one of the modders might want to consider creating a mod that tweaks to some game dialogue. For example: when Astarion is revealed at camp to be a vampire spawn, he days one of the things he feasts on are kobolds, grouping them in with little animals. If one is playing a kobold as their Tav, it would be cool to have some reaction options to that. Also, if one's playing a goblin, hobgoblin, doppleganger, ogre, or gnoll as their Tav, it would be very interesting to see how this affects interactions with others of their own race as well as with those who've been attacked by others of their own race... like Waukeen's Rest... would the soldiers really ask another goblin or hobgoblin to help rescue those trapped in the fire after hordes or goblins just attacked them and killed so many? 🤔 Or would they attack the goblin or hobgoblin on sight? Same for a gnoll Tav interacting with the Zentarim... 🤔 And, if one's Tav is an imp, a sahuagin, or kuo-toa, what then? The reactions would certainly? I'd imagine fear and attack would be primary responses....

I hadn't considered getting the cheaters ring mod at first, but the more i think about it the more versatile it sounds. Especially if you're someone like me who knows where all the treasure is and the exploration part has started to become tedious. For example, to keep it balanced i could just wait until i reach the underdark then hand myself the helmet of smiting instead of having to go through the selunite outpost when i just want to get to the combat and progress the story. A mod for randomized loot would be awesome, the exploration part has started to feel less natural and more like its interrupting the fun. Also, it could be nice for roleplay. If you have a character with a noble background, why would they be wearing some of the cheapest armour available?

Can we get a video on classes/subclasses that have post-Level 12 content. There's a reason I only have the Mystic and Remembrance Warlock Mods. I can't speak for Sony because their mod standards have been notoriously strict, even before Microsoft bought Bethesda, but Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Starfield not only allow external assets, but assets from other games including but not limited to Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Halo, The Witcher and even Injustice 2. So I am optimistic about getting the Priest/Demon Hunter mods.

You know something really sad? A druid, at level 13, gets plane shift. Exactly what Karlach needs to escape the hells. She is out of the hells for a good bit before it becomes a legitimate problem and going back almost immediately fixed it. You just have to plane shift to Avernus, long rest, and plane shift back once every few weeks. Even bring someone else that can hide you from detection for the long rest. Even that wouldn't need to last long because a high enough level cleric gets regenerate which would fix the problem as well.

A note on the ring, it DOES NOT have every weapon. There's no Silver Sword, nor is there Lathandr's mace. It has damn near everything, but it's missing a small handful of things that I have noticed. Might be because I'm on console, but I don't see them there at least

​@@TheLordLanre I think I read in another comment that the reason you can't get gotash, orin, or ketherics gear with it is because it's used to progress the game. So it would probably makes it buggy if you suddenly counted as completing an act 2 or 3 quest in act 1. That's my understanding of it at least, I don't know much about mods.

The create ring doesnt give all items blood of lathander, and silver sword of the Astral plane. So may not have all armours and jewelry but its an excellent start those only two ive noticed

Probably because those items are tied to story events and are key items of sort. Using the old glitch to command drop the silver sword in ch 1 would brick story parts in chapter 2 and 3. Just my guess.

Also, it seems the in-game ModManager is auto-alphabetizing mods. Doesn't this screw up the load order? Or does the in-game ModManager override the auto-alphabetization and read rhe mods in their proper load order?

@JasonDunna The creator knew they were using custom "shaders" (whatever that is) and never submitted it to be approved for consoles, knowing it wasn't possible. But for some reason, the mod appeared listed in the first batch when they showed around 84 mods for consoles. The next week, they removed some of them. Same that happened to the FacesUnlocked. They tweak some faces to match the bodies, so it wasn't approved. This creator is making a "vanilla" version, and people have already asked them to include the odd faces anyway.

I downloaded all the subclass mods for warlock but Hexblade doesn't appear for me. On PC, I did download both celestial subclass mods, could it be that and what should I do? I had the same problem with spellblade subclass. I restarted my console, then I don't remember if i uninstalled and reinstalled, or simply disabled then enabled it again, but it worked after that. Edit: for double xp, with it I've been able to get to level 6 after fighting the 3 bosses at the goblin camp, which I don't remember being able to do before so I think it's working.

I haven't gotten the mod yet, so I don't know for sure, but did you make sure to check the chests on the nautiloid? Thats where I found the dyes from faerun colors mod I think it's called. Edit: sorry, I read it wrong, I thought you were asking for location, not controls. If you use xbox, you can try tapping x on it. Whenever you tap x on an item it tells you if you can combine it, send it to other characters etc. I plan to get the mod installed when I have a chance, I'll try to come back here if I figure it out.

Does anyone know how to use the mods on console? I’ve downloaded them and I went to make a new character and none of them were downloaded and I couldn’t use them…. Is there something in options I need to turn on?

I use xbox series s, I don't know if it's different for ps5 or pc. But for me I can find my installed mods by going to mod manager then tapping RB. I can then look through everything I have installed and disable or enable the ones I want to use. Also, you need ImpUI (improved ui) mod for a lot of the mods, so you may have some that won't function until you've downloaded that. Hope this helps! Edit: also, installed mods will be highlighted in green when browsing through mods, so you can know what you've already installed.

It's annoying af how there's only 4 pages of mods atm for consel. When starfield released one, there were 100s to choose from on xbox rn. There's probably only 50, and mods have been out for a week. At this rate, we will get more in 2025. Every other game that has mods they are updated daily weekly this one i have been waiting for more and nothing. Guarantee by the end of October, we will only have 4 pages at this rate it's so annoying idc about different colors. I want different races classes armors exc

Reason being is Larian has to test all mods to ensure no issues to allow external assets and other things. If you want mods PC gaming is the place to be for modding

Unfortunately not but it can set all your stats to 20

@@Ludzig I was definitely sure you can as I have, and just checked which pack, it's within the Cheaters Potion Box. In the chest on PS5 the first two icons are pouches called 'Bag of Hags Hair' and 'Bag of Hags Brew' (which has 20 of each of the Hags "potions" that gives negative effects)

There will be a ton more coming, they just need to go through a dull process of being approved. Give it a week or two and there’ll be like 10 pages worth, and even more later
