I have the Bauer system! Love it!! So far so good!? I dont think the handle comes off but it does slide all the way dn so!? I mean thats not a deal breaker for me!! I mean it comes on the huge base case which when full u wouldn't be able to ever lift full of heavy tools wo a lot of strain!! So im not sure why ud want or need it off?? But maybe?? Mine has sit out in the weather with traveling and that does effect things! I did need to WD things!? But cases held up well no water got inside them! And they protected my tools well! Bauer is well made and simple!! I mean u actually have space fornur tools and they seem easiest to clean!? For me i like well made heavy duty and simple and to the point and also priced well!! Im on SS so im on a major tight budget and i need economical above all!! But i also demand quality!!?? So to me the Bauer fills this need and demand!! Next to them id say Ryobi!? Kobalt!? Dont like Klein at all!!! And i dont like Mils either!! Esp price wise!! There's many i dont like!!! But only a few I do!! And BAUER IS AT THE TOP!!! GREAT STUFF HARDY SIMPLE TOUGH!!!

The Ryobi handle can be removed. The 2 screws at the bottom, It's not a latch. The handle is a little more solid than the others. Looking at a system for myself right now.

Not true, you can remove the handle on the 2.0 DeWalt tough system and the craftsman trade stack. That's what the little red tab is for at the base of handle. It should written on the tag that is on the boxes.

The ryobi set is very cheap made coworkers have broken multiple and my Bauer is still hauling 3x the tools they have. I have it 5 boxes high pulling well over lb rating and no signs of breaking. The latches are a pain sometimes

I been rocking Packout for a few years. Love them. But recently switched to FLEX, I think they are the new industry standard. Not knocking Milwaukee at all, but FLEX picked up all the little things that Packout missed. Both good.

The Flex has 9 inch wheels. I know the Ryobi Link at least also has 9 inch wheels. Of course the Ryobi isn’t going to be the same quality, but unless you’re throwing it off of rooftops it’s not gonna break easily either and it’s $100 or more less depending on where you look

I don’t find it much more expensive other than a few dollars depending on who you compare it to. It’s also more for professional not the average homeowner.

Hart. Is perfect. I would love something nicer and more expensive but I don’t need it I do stuff around my house and for my family. It’s the perfect system for the price and quality that keeps my tools organized and in one place instead of everywhere but where i need them like before. Again if i had money to burn i would buy another system but i don't desire to replace it unless i won the lottery. if i was a professional however who every day used tools outside my home i would go for the more expensive.

Objectively, The Hart is the Best Value. The Ridgid is the Best for Value and Quality The Best Quality is tied between ToughBuilt and Milwaukee. The others fall into these categories, while either being more expensive, or not as durable.

I have the Bauer system cuz I work at HF and got it cheaper with my discount lol. It's not a bad system for the money. The boxes are pretty rugged and seem like they could take a lot of abuse. My only complaints about them would have to be that the locking tabs seem like a fail point in the future, and there's not as big of a selection of box styles for the system. There's only 5 boxes you can choose from, whereas all of the other ones have like 10+. Hell even the Walmart one has more of a variety lol. Hopefully in the near future we'll see an expansion on the variety of boxes. I'll probably be one of the first to know lol, but so far I've heard nothing about them.

Hey man I'm actually in the process of doing this now to my Bauer it seems as it I'm almost there I removed the wheel bar and wheels and now trying to remove the handle through the handle post. Can you give me a quick explanation on what you did to modify it to remove it and put back on? Do I need to pop those 2 silver jigs holding the handle onto the handle bars and switch them out with some bolts or do I need to remove the plastic base in the bottom of the handle bars with the slide lock holes on it?
