Another thing to keep in mind with that gun-less caulk is use by people with arthritis or other hand disabilities. I'm in Australia, so we don't have that brand, but we have the same item under different brands. I haven't been able to use a caulking gun for many years, but recently I had to do a project which required caulking and while I was at the hardware store, I noticed caulking with this handle-like tube. It works fantastically and doesn't cause anywhere near as much pain in my hands as attempting to use a caulking gun. Just an aspect I didn't think you'd have realised, but, for me, the additional cost is definitely worth it so I can manage the caulking without having to ask someone to come and help me. (Mind you, I'd be happier if it was the same price as other caulk because the one thing that does annoy me is having to pay so much more because I can't use the other type, but I'm still glad it's available).

The flexseal paint is awesome. My nephew sealed his 12 foot aluminum riveted boat with the stuff, and not a single drop of water has leaked into the boat since. It has been years since he did it. Before he did it we had to pump the water every half an hour which fast became tedious especially when the fish were biting. He applied the paint in 50 degree wet weather too. I told him that it would never work. The next day we took the boat out and he was smiling like a possum eating chit off a wire brush.

My experience with speed outs is that they don't work in real life applications, usually when your screw head is stripped, it means your screw is stuck, either into a very hard wood, rusted, or somehting like that, you know, hard to get out basically. As you can see the stripped screws here in the video were so loose they tightened up when he used the drilling side of the speed outs. Only reason it worked, and funny enough the only screw that gave a little bit of trouble seemed to be the one that was kind of stuck in there, didn't twist at all when drilling it unlike all the other ones.

Flex Tape is capitol T-rash. Worked at the get go, but cleaning it off for "correct" repair is next to impossible, which you will need to do in only a few months since both the backing and adhesive go brittle very fast (like a slab of dry lasagna). Couldn't easily clean it up at that point either😅 😅😅

You are incorrect lol you're not supposed to use it as a temporary fix you can actually use it as a permanent fix then you won't have to worry about removing the adhesive.

I worked factory maintenance for years. I had a raggedy gator grip that i used for stripped bolt heads. It was a real time saver. I had tool boxes full of snap on. But gator came in to save time sometimes.

I bought the Craftsman versions of Gatorgrip & Speedout for my now ex-husband (he only used Craftsman tools...he loved their lifetime guarantee...they even replaced a tool he bought as an early teenager when he was in his 30s with no arguments). He used those things all the time, naturally the "Gatorgrip" more than the "Speedout".

The Flex Seal commercial will continue to be played until the death of cable 😂😂😂😂. I'm highly surprised it worked on the bucket hole though!

I bought an early tool like the Gator Wrench over 30 years ago It was ok at best and useless after one of the pins bent. My screw extractors are just as old, made in Taiwan and still work just fine.

i bought the speedout years ago, and while most of my stripped screw heads were to small for this tool, i have actually been able to use it once.

I've used those speed outs on deck screws and they stripped both times. They seem to be softer than a deck screw, (or the last two sets I used were faulty). 12 mins. 45 Secs on the video.

I bought flex paste from HD and it was solid and didn’t spread, I thought it was just an old batch so I bought another and it did the same thing. Flex seal spray seems to work but you need to reapply every year.

Just sayin' the speed-out set is worth GOLD! dealing with 2 broke bell housing bolts $10 for NO cussing for 2 hours WORTH IT. destroyed the tool but $10? HELL YEAH!

@11:25 Really easy alternative at least for stripped screws is a simple rubber band. Just jam in the stripped screw use the normal bit and you can take the screw out.

Speedout for sure, love those thing and theyre cheap. I used them all over my motorcycles to puul broken screws used them in my trade doing hvac i have easy outs and the such assortment of pipe and bolt removers and 100 percent for the most time the speedouts get the most usage, i buy a new set for every job so i cant speak for longevity

Heads up Speedout doesn’t need a infomercial, they’re sold in stores, that said I have no idea what store, but I bought a set a couple of years ago (I don’t remember where) but they’re awesome
