I don't do 'man crushes' but he was a beautiful man and apparently had a beautiful heart to match. My heart just breaks at his loss and his sister too, just hope and pray his father and remaining sister can find some peace. I'm the same age as Yog and literally grew up listening to his music, my biggest regret (and I have a few!) was never getting to see him live. Makes me really sad.

I'm a huge George fan and also a huge fan of Elvis. I grew up with Georges music and i loved him, love him still! I won't miss this great time in the '80s! Maybe the best part of my life. My first reaction when i heard the news on Christmas Day was No! No!No!.....like many others. I had a feeling like loosing my brother, i had the feeling that i devinitley lost my youth! When i think about him now, i realize that there are many parallels with Elvis live. Both had a God given talent, both were very private persons, and very sensible, both lost their beloved mother and never really get over it. And both were addicted to drugs in the last part of their lifes. They lost their gorgeous looks at the end and their lust for life i guess.💔 RIP GEORGE RIP ELVIS Sorry for my english, it isn't my first language!

I will forever miss GM. May you Rest In Peace GM you have left many people here on Earth very happy with your music but very sad that you are gone too soon. He had so many great great songs, I still have almost every cd he dropped. There are very few singers that are as talented as George was. My fav was Heaven Help Me with Deon Estes or another really romantic song that I can’t quite recall now. George you were truly a great human being, a great artist, a great friend and loved by many.
