In this video I give my review on what some claim as the best mouse trap ever. The Flip N Slide, which costed me $26.99 from a company called Teppy.

Nice trap but the first windy day I lost the black swing cover. Plus you have to take the cover off to check inside the bucket. I installed 2 small clamp on black swing pivot ends.plus drilled a tiny hole on back off swing & and put a small screw in hole so I could open the swing without taking the cover off. Fill bucket half full off water so in will not blow away.

This is actually a knock-off from a mouse trap invented by Shawn Woods. He has been making mouse and rat trap videos for years. He came up with this trap and of course it has been copied and remade overseas. The original is proudly made in the U.S.A. Shawn has put a lot of thought into it with in-put from the sole manufacturer. He has made many youtube videos.

The reason there are so many knock-offs is that charging $27 for $1 of plastic begs for it.

Ladder steep angle doesn't seem to matter? I taped an old rag to bucket side, mice climbed vertically up rag. I eould make change to this trap. I would put ladder right in front of trap door, not off to side. Then I'd block off area so mice can't walk around bucket top, only place to walk inside yellow covered baited section?

These flip trips are all a copy of the 1960 verion of the Rinne flip Trap. My wife bought (the lid part ) the chinese version of one of these. as it cheeper cost her just $ 8.88 from temu . Me I would have bought the $27.00 Flip N slide. as it made better Then she went and bought the 20lt bucket for it from bunnings that cost her just $15.00 We seen on Utube to just put scoup of the pennut butter just uner the yeolow lid And when you first go to use it dont put any water in the 20lt buckit OMG the first night I ened up with 6 live mice I had to kill. Then I learn that mice have no homeing instink they just folow the sent of other mice . So if you domp them in say a park they wont come back to hunt you down LOL chinese version or Flip N slide.

Why catch and release or drop them off on someone else why not just put them out of their misery it’s not like they’re on the endangered list ?

Isn't this one a copy of the Rinne Trap? Rinne traps are made in the USA. I have four of their traps and they are awesome. They are about $20 and you get a significant price break when you buy 4 of them. I bought 4 and set them up at the four corners of my house. Along with some Tom Cat Press and Set white snap traps, I've caught about 200 mice in the last two months and fed them to wild animals as healthy snacks for them.

The Rinne Trap is usa made by the inventors---3 brothers. they are 19.99 at menards lumber yard and all you have to do is wait for the 11 percent rebate for two dollars less. Much better quality and they snap tight

Very cool! We just picked up 2 for under $20 on Amazon and got a mouse the first night. Tonight is the 2nd night. Hate mice in my house bro!! 🤬

Trying mine first time tonight! I usually use those metal humane traps and take them to a nature preserve about 5 miles from my house. I don't want to kill them. I just don't want to live with them.

Best mouse trap I’ve ever used. They never get the bait. The trap resets itself. The mice are in a 5 gallon bucket with a handle so they are easy to transport. You can add water to the bucket to kill the mice or catch them live. It’s awesome.

For one little monster I prefer Victor snap traps as I rarely have failed with those when it comes to one or two. However for a lot this things seems to do the trick during the winter months in MN. During the summer and fall it didn't perform as well. Hope you get em!

I have no idea how many mice I have. Every day there’s poop in the basement but no mouse in the trap. I’m going to try to decrease the slope and see if that helps.
@knightowl2016 Жыл бұрын
@@LivingMyBestLifeIAm I eventually did catch the mother mouse, by setting up the plastic bucket under the crawl space closer to their nest, with less of a slope to climb up. And then eventually, the baby mice came out and got trapped, or died of starvation.

No, the reasonably priced version is indeed made in China. Usually I'm all up for supporting smaller local businesses but $27 for what is literally less than $2 of injection molded plastic just sounds like the punchline to a bad joke.
