I think it's odd to suggest that the person who won played badly, simply because she didn't play strategically or in a way that makes sense in the abstract. It also seems like the guy who eliminated 42 did so purely out of spite - in these social games, people who are openly competitive often seen early success, but are inevitably eliminated whenever people have an opportunity to retaliate. If you make yourself a target in a social game like this, I don't think you can be said to be playing well.
