You know what? I ended up calling the folks over at Shredly and for guys that are a tad oversize or like me, a lot oversize, I was able to get a pair and other than the waist cut, It is going to work well and are actually a lot more comfortable than anything else I have ever worn so far. Thanks for sharing that on this video.

New to your channel here brother and I gotta say I like what you are doing here. I'm new (ish) to biking meaning I have a couple of bikes. (2011 Kona Dew and 2021 Trek Marlin7) Like you, I have hit that 3 bill mark and have now decided to get on the bike. I figured it would be way easier with the back surgeries and damaged nerves I've been handed to deal with. Baby steps in riding short rides to get started but nevertheless, we are riding. Got my wife the Marlin 5 so it's a joint effort. Anyhow, keep doing what you are doing brother. Love the motivation...

Comfortable and like you mentioned after riding put on some regular shoes and sometimes change a shirt and can run errands and not even notice. Heck I've worn them to work. Also Race Face makes a great belt that fits perfect in small belt loops. 2 color options Black and olive with magnetic closure. I wear it more than my Arcade Sannta Cruz Colab. Great video!

I always get excited when I see you upload a new video! I love to laugh as do you. As the saying goes, the day is only as much fun as we make it, so.... lets always make it a good day. Anyway, great video! I always struggle to find clothes that fit right as I’ve been struggling with my weight for a few years now. Its even more difficult woth mtb hear. I have those Zoic shorts and love them. I need pants now though as winter is coming here in the panhandle but dont have a clue as to where to look or what brand. Riding gloves is another issue since my palms are so wide and my fingers aren’t ling enough to match the width of palm. Wow, more I write this out, the more I feel like a Frankenstein or something hahhaa! Great video bro, keep them coming and keep at the weight loss. You look great, true inspiration bro!!

I have about 8 pairs of the zoic ethers and let me tell you they don't last. The zippers are garbage. The velcro becomes useless after a few washes and all the lighter colors suck as they stain easily. But I do have to say their warranty is awesome. No questions asked replacement. Great vids btw and awesome job on the journey. I myself was in the same boat at 300lbs and now down to 230lbs. Same build as you and it sucks riding being heavier and finding clothes that fit nicely without having to buy bigger sizes that'll only make you look bigger lol. Keep up the great work. Hope to ride with you one day sir!

so far food stains goes away with detergents I've used, but a thing that does not go away is some brown spots I get on my jerseys and shorts, not sure what it is. I don't know what to use for cleaning those, it looks like regular dirt spots from puddles, but just does not go away like the rest of them. I mean never go away, even after many washes, and even years still stays on.
@B1KER3 жыл бұрын
I was most curious about the sealant.
@mtbboy19933 жыл бұрын
@@B1KER I too struggle with this, with Orange seal, it leaves similar spots. but now I am testing sealant which is not latex, and is more elementally friendly, I am currently trying Tune One Shot, but so far I can't get it to seal, I did a decent job with the gorilla tape but still leak, so I suspect it might be the sealant, even with a lot of wheel sharing and turning, but I will see if it will help to get it to seal eventually, it leaks via spoke holes. I will see if it's a decent sealant or not. I won't give up yet. but Orange sel endurance eventually sealed it before, when tape was not too badly out of place, so it worked quickly, but I will see if I just need to spread the sealant more, maybe I need to add more, I will see, but it looks like this sealant might be easier to lose. if this sealant is useless I will try get orange seal just in case, and try othhers.

I think because of your waist size it's going to be hard to find something good. A lot of brands don't make stuff that big because they don't sell them enough.
