@jaxonwoods8181 I can't tell you how I know because I have too much respect for Coach Shula. He lost his edge in the 1980s. Part of it was his extreme loyalty to his assistant coaches. He also lost his defensive and offensive coordinators. Those were key. But there is something else that he used that doesn't work anymore. Intimidation of both players and media. He was obsessed with media coverage. He used to isolate new beat reporters and read them the riot act on day one. That's why he never got a tough question thereafter. He told them he would destroy their careers. Back then, no cell phones. It's a different world now.

Cleveland and Pittsburgh was a bitter rivalry until the Browns moved to Baltimore and the Ravens became Pittsburgh’s bitter rivalry. Some really weird decisions: 1) Patriots finish with higher win% than Vikings/Dolphins but less total wins, because of the odd decision to not count the Boston Patriots as part of the New England Patriots history. This was a team that moved to a new stadium, not even a considered relocation. 2) Combining raiders LA and LV wins into a single franchise, but making Oakland raiders a different franchise 3) Splitting Chargers, rams, and anyone else who changed cities. Normally we consider these the same franchise 4) Least egregious - Titans split from Oilers. Most people consider them the same franchise, but at least I feel this makes a little bit of sense because they changed the name, uniforms, and the city
