35mm f1.8 is a lens for crop sensor cameras and not fx lens.

there are both, fx full format and cropped 35mm lenses, full frame lens on fx body and dx lens on dx body has best resolution but its cool that you can actually interchange nikon f mount lenses like using a fx lens on dx body lets say d500 and tamron 70-300mm VC and get 450mm reach

What is this, a bozo reading a script for a subject about which he knows nothing? The 105 micro is great. The 28-300 f/3.5-5.6 is a tourist lens. It's not nearly as sharp as any half decent prime. I gave mine away. I'll counter the 14-24 2.8 with the 16-35 f/4 VR. The 16-35 is just as sharp and half the price. The 24-70 is great, just seriously, learn how to read the names. It doesnt have a processor, so whatever youre talking about is wrong. The 50 f/1.4D is available for half the price, and even sharper. #7 is not an FX lens. It's the equivalent of #6, but for DX. FX cameras will go into crop mode with this camera, so there is no excuse for using it. #8 is a great choice, but its definitely not light weight. It's one of my everyday choices.

Is this a joke? If Nikon 108/2.8 macro is the best Nikon lens, then I should not watch this video any further. I had this lens and sold it having not even a trace of good experience left. It is the worst macro lens I have ever managed to try, even the cheapest Chinese 3rd party lenses are way superior. Optically it is rather dated and IQ is just about OK, AF is slow but useless for macro photography anyways, chromatic aberrations are horrible, it is slow for a portrait lens, bulky and heavy for what it is. I saw the superzoom being listed as 2nd best lens, so I stopped wathcing this meaningless marketing video.
