Best NVME SSDs For Gaming & Productivity? | Gen3 Vs Gen4

We have been seeing many different NVME SSDs lately, some are low cost Gen3 and others are expensive Gen4. But how do they perform in real world use-case and which one should we go for when it comes to Gaming & Productivity?

Would you also add about the life span of the ssds , their failure points , data tranfer limit (usage limit , read somewhere like 5000tb read or write limit on low end ssds something like that) etc in regards with cheap and expensive ones.

Disk Sentinel doesn't give proper info for NVME/SSDs. You can check NVME SSDs health by downloading manufacturer's utility software.

Great video as always but should have included some recent games which make the ssd requirement mandatory like Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Starfield etc. Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart is troublesome even on a sata ssd, it only works properly on nvme drives

I had to skip 3DMark10's benchmarks as the video duration was getting longer. And in that test the performance difference in game load times wasn't that significant in all three NVME SSDs that I tested.

for normal gaming it will be hard to differentiate between even a sata SSD and gen4 DRAM nvme.

DRAM-less cache NVME SSDs are pretty cheap these days so better to go with GEN3 NVNE SSDs instead of SATA SSDs

Lifetime of NVME SSDs are measured in TBW (TeraByte Written) and all good brand's SSDs have such TBW numbers that can not be reached by an average user in like 10 years of use.
