I bought a vintage Lynx that came from Bloomingdales... it is just like new even in 2024... Mine was a Louis Feraud designer coat... I really love it.

Wunderschöne. Die Tiere geben bestimmt gerne ihr Fell, wenn sie von tollen, bewundertswerten Damen als Mäntel getragen werden.❤❤❤❤

Do you think the ghosts of the dead minks are scurrying around in the attics of these furriers or in the bathrooms spooky.

I am looking for a late 70's early 80's commercial with soothing music that said "come in out of the cold" I believe it was a Fred The Furrier commerical.
@jfranklin842510 ай бұрын
Yeeeeees! I came here looking for that EXACT commercial😄 I sing that song every few years..."come iiiiin out of the cold....hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmmmmm". Wasn't the lady in the commercial getting off a bus???
@GrayEyes12310 ай бұрын
@jfranklin8425 that I'm not sure but that song still haunts me

@@GrayEyes123 in my search I found the commercial with the lady on the bus was for Ritz Thrift Shop. She got off the bus, went to the thrift shop and bought a fur coat. Come in out of the cold commercial remains elusive.

@jfranklin8425 if I remember correctly I saw somewhere online the Come In Out of the Cold commercial was for Fred's Furriers

Hip hop was everywhere during this time though, the rapping in the movie Teen Witch still cracks me up to this day. But it sure was a different kind of rap/hip hop back then, it's too much crass today and it all sounds the same.

Pretty disgusting to be wearing so much dead animal that was treated like garbage while living. Today you'd have to be pretty heartless and low empathy to wear one. I do remember furs being all the rave back then, in the 80s when I was a kid my dad bought my mom and me matching furs, she took me to the movies at night all dressed up very glamorous like, my mom was an avid consumer of "Dynasty" and "Bold and the Beautiful", I often thought she wanted a piece of that luxurious lifestyle and feel like a dame.
