Had the Nintendo Max, but always preferred the Advantage personally.

Doublemint Gum- I like how the snow attire that the twins are wearing in this commercial makes them look like they could easily blend in with the snow in the environment.

Above the Law was Steven Seagal’s first big film appearance, and helped launch a career that for a time seemed like he could rival Stallone or Schwarzenegger. Unfortunately, a huge ego, a disastrous hosting appearance on SNL, and a string of bad decisions tanked all that.

What do you mean? Seagal’s doing great! I just saw him in his latest film in which he spent 9/10ths of it sitting down, groaning and saying his lines in a barely audible gurgle, while his romantic lead was played by an Asian actress who was clearly uncomfortable being in his presence. He then proceeded to “fight” several bad guys, which consisted of a jumbled mess of cuts so rapid that you can’t actually tell what is happening. His career is just going gangbusters. In all seriousness, how long will it be until we find him lying dead in a hotel room with a gigantic amount of crack cocaine in his system? I give it 3 years.

The Nintendo game "R.C. Pro Am" was one of the most frustrating games I would play. In the higher levels, once those other cars pass you, you can not catch up.

I'm almost certain that the building with the external elevator in the Pizza Hut commercial is the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit. As a Detroiter, that's awesome.

Blades of steel was much better than Nintendo’s ice hockey

I've mentioned this before that I have both the NES Max & the NES Advantage. The Max is a fine turbo controller in its own right, but there's something about the Advantage that has a joystick & turbo speed adjustment the Max doesn't have.

According to Ghostbusters 2 you can also control the Statue of Liberty with an NES Advantage. +1 point to Advantage.

Wow I love this, I live in Memphis, bringing back memories of the 80’s !( even though the Tennessee commercial only showed one thing from Memphis, Elvis) e Doublemint twins , probably one of the most famous commercial ad campaigns in tv history…

Tennessee-"Take me to another plaace.." Coca-Cola Classic-nice bait and switch there(had everyone thinking it was the"out of control party"trope) Creep Phone-if this were around today, Radiohead and TLC would be the spokespeople 🤣 Bad Dreams-"..we have Freddy Krueger at home." Above The Law-this and Marked For Death were Segal's best films IMO Girls Nite Out-shame there wasn't a sequel to this

Whoa these local ads are really hitting close to home. Elmwood Park and Hawthorne weren't very far from where I lived! And it's PATERSON Rent A Center, not Patterson! As I said in the previous video, this is definitely from the pre-TCI days on UA-Columbia Cable, taped somewhere in Bergen or Passaic County New Jersey.

Seeing that Home Supply & Lumber commercial (6:56) really got me because I grew up and still live in Hawthorne. Home Supply is still at that location and going strong, too!

Rare also developed one of my all time favorite video games: Jet Force Gemini for the N64. I don’t see too many people talk about it when the N64 is discussed.

All of these aired during the Commander USA airing of "Mako: The Jaws of Death" except for the last two ads that followed it.
