Some of the best content Giant Bomb ever did came from E3. And now they're all gone. Even E3 in this format is gone. We'll never get this again. And now I'm sad.

A long time ago he was one of GB's interns. He now works for Sony. He was in a business meeting during E3 and saw Dave Lang give him the finger in the middle of a meeting. He jokingly said he was gonna "kill him" on twitter but because of twitter's zero tolerance policy, his twitter was immediately banned.

ignore my last comment. so i just watched the whole E3 Nite episode. From what I understand Kessler was in a Sony meeting at E3. Lang flips him off through the window, what was supposedly a joke. Then humble brags about it on twitter (still light-hearted i think). Kessler clearly did not find it funny as it was a formal meeting. A twitter exchange brews, and ultimately Kessler tweets he's going to kill him [Dave Lang]. Kessler as a result gets banned from twitter, losing all 10k or so followers, social media presence, influence etc etc (he is now unbanned following the review). Queue Kesslers appearance at Giant Bomb @ Nite. Now you're up to date. The thing about the son: Lang's son posed for a picture the way Kessler mocks, Lang commenting how he possibly failed as a father because his son is posing for anime. Between father and son it can be a joke. But a third party (in this case Kessler) mocking it is crossing boundaries. Seems Lang is real pissed specifically at the way this situation turned out. Kessler is pissed that Lang started it in the first place. Thats the story form what I gather. You be the judge and let see how this all turns out at PAX.
