Come with me on a 5 day trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. In this video I will showcase the best of Glacier National Park from a visit in June of 2022 with lots of hiking, backpacking and exploration of both East Glacier, Two medicines and West Glacier before the Going-To-The-Sun road is open.
My sister joined me on this multi day trip to bear country. I hope you enjoy the video. Don't forget to drop a comment down below.

What is the last lesson you learned while traveling? On this trip we learned to always check our camelbacks before we pack them and hold them upside down to make sure they don't leak.

I always carry two bladders. One that I use and the other as a spare in case it gets punctured or leaks because of wear and tear.

Don’t rush when packing. Slow, methodical and double check. My last lesson was last week and a tough one. I packed a 3mm wetsuit instead of a 7mm. I was diving shipwrecks in the Great Lakes. The water temperature was in the mid to upper 40s. Dry suits recommended. I froze my ass off! But it was worth it. Epic dives. By the way, it is almost criminal for me too to not have visited Glacier National Park. I’m on a journey to visit every National Park over the next couple of years. I’m saving Glacier for last. The hikers park. I can’t wait. Another great video Alice. Thanks!

I stopped using camel paks or bladders for several reasons. Leaking was one. I have made my own camelpak bottle with straw. It works so much better never leaks, easy to clean , easy to fill, and get back into a stuffed bag. I worked on perfecting it for a long time. i have an internal staw that was designed to retract and expand to fit any size bottle and not lose any water. Been using it for a few years. And love it...

Me and my family were there yesterday! We live in Missoula now, so we drive to GNP a lot! You don't need a reservation to Going to the Sun Road if you go before 6AM or after 3PM. Bc of the rain..We hiked to Sunrift Gorge and Baring Falls and did a boat ride yesterday. There are lots of beautiful hikes around Missoula also.. in Lolo, and Stevensville :) Montana is such a beautiful state. Thank you for sharing your hikes!

This is my favorite National Park of all with Yosemite a close second. Glacier just has so much wildlife and the views are amazing. Hiking and camping is super sketchy due to the Grizzlies but totally worth it. No cel signal and very little built structures make it feel so remote. The are also some amazing hikes outside the Park like the Mt Aeneas trail which is stunning and a must do if you are in the area.

Hiking and camping is not super sketchy. You just have to be aware and don’t do stupid shit like have food in your tent, eat close to where you’re gonna sleep, and keep your distance. 😉

I reside a short 90 minute drive from Glacier National Park 🇺🇸 which has a boundary with Waterton National Park 🇨🇦 on the Canadian side. You gotta be there to have a good feel of the place. Even the best pic taken cannot give justice to the area. The Rocky Mountains are majestic. I could see a burnt area from your footage, a major fire happened over here 4-5 years ago and almost half the park suffered from it, some areas are still closed to the public. Thanks for sharing Alice 😎👍🥾🏔
