9:14 you can quote rules all you like but you need to be aware of your car's body language, the road is easily wide enough to turn in without creeping off to the right in a way that makes it look like your leaving the road to the right. Even if they saw the signal your movements don't match it. Think about this, people who pull unnecessary to tge opposite side they're turning to for no good reason, please!

@@mvpfocus while I get what you're driving at, I don't think he ever "left" the lane fully, why they swerved right before making that turn is beyond me unless pulling a trailer. Either way still the trailing cars fault but a dumb move that made it start.
@zackoneill3 жыл бұрын
@@mvpfocus I think the car that 'hit' the cammer was probably driving aggressively trying to speed past on the right side of the 2-to-1 lane merge. Cammer blocked right and slowed way down making the aggressive car (AC) think he was turning right, to which the AC pulled left to speed around only to find the cammer now hard turning left causing the AC to evade around into the oncoming lane to then collide with the cammer. It's always the ones that are professing innocence so hard like this cammer that are at least partly responsible for the accident happening.
@karenneill91093 жыл бұрын
They also turned left over a double yellow line. The person behind could easily have seen their slowing down, moving to the right, no left turn, and gone to the left. For all we know the cammer has their right turn signal on...

that YUCAIPA CA needs to be responsible for that accident making a left turn from the right lane when you se that in the driving book
@roadmonitoroz3 жыл бұрын
So many of these "accidents" could have been avoided just by gently pressing the brake pedal. I could list them all but then I'd have to watch all that bad driving from dashcam drivers again. 19:15 for example. You had 6 seconds to go from 5 MPH down to 0 MPH to avoid that yet you still crashed into them. You could have got out of your car, run around it, got back in and stopped almost in that time. You have 4 car park spots between you . Each is a minimum of 2.5 metres wide (10 metres / 32 feet in total)
@Alloneword-cp2xw3 жыл бұрын
9:27 your description makes no sense given what we see. IF you were turning left, why were you over on the right side of the road before you turn, AND, it looks like you were not going to give way to that oncoming truck and were going to go. You only stopped because they went past you. You weren't turning left were you? You were trying to stop them getting past you. They swerved to the right which is when you did and then they went left and you tried to stop them.

My favorite is instead of just letting the guy cut you off, you speed up to not let him in which causes the accident. Even when it's the other person's fault technically, you really could've just hit the brake a little. A lot of videos I see relate to this.

If you see a potential accident about to occur, and you recognize you have the ability to prevent it, you are obligated to do so. This “bump” occurred extremely slowly, and the driver with the dashcam did nothing to prevent it. By the way, intentionally blocking a merging vehicle is a dick move, not to mention highly illegal. Edit: Lol, I love how the driver STILL complains about having to pay his deductible. Buddy, you quite literally sped up into the back of that truck.
@vvhitevvabbit64793 жыл бұрын
9:25 Cammer thought it was necessary to explain an obvious law lol. Also, It's illegal to drive through a traffic light when it is red. The law requires that you stop your vehicle at a red light rather than crossing through the intersection. The vehicle can then proceed through once the light has changed from red to green. This is to avoid vehicles crashing into one another. To do otherwise is quite illegal and dangerous. lol. Given that you weaved way into the right merge lane before attempting your left turn, it's likely the driver behind thought you were turning right and when you came back into the lane, had to swear to avoid you. For someone who feels the need to express the law, you sure doesn't know how to follow it.
