At least in California, it is proper pedestrian crossing if it is from one corner to another, even if it isn't marked. This is likely why there was a sign indicating that people were crossing there. He flipped out because of that very reason, yes the was apologetic but one bump to hard would end the motorcycle on the ground, which is just a fact and am not making it worse. Hitting a Motorcyclist with maybe 15km an hour can already be deathly. Not paying attention as a car and only hearing them make a bit of sound when they want to drive away is not your go as a car to drive aswell, it takes motorcyclists a sec to actually pull up and drive, which can also cause a bad accident, Which happened here. Thats why you always pay attention. I also agree on that he didnt had to react this way when the driver was apologetic but there is way more to look at and the risks as a motorcyclist to drive. Again i agree on the way he flipped off wasnt needed but I completely understand why he reacted that way. Either way with a Motorcyclist on the way you have to be extra careful no matter what you drive in.

I don't understand why some of these cammers make such massive deals out of the fairly minor incidents in they encounter. Just today, I was in the right turn lane, waiting to, you guessed it, turn right. There's still a whole bunch of snow on the roads here in Nebraska and when the light turned green for me to go, I couldn't get traction. I sat there at the green light while I shifted my truck into 4x4 and the people ahead took the opportunity to turn left. One of them went right as I did and if I wasn't paying attention could've easily t-boned him. You know what I did? I slowed down, let him go, and went after him, continuing to the place I was headed. No honking, no trailing, no fingers, nothing! No impact, no problem (to an extent). These people need to learn that.

My mom taught me not to brake check but rather do a small controlled swerve within your own lane. Not enough to leave your lane or lose control, just enough to be obvious and make the people behind you want to back off. Slightly left, slightly right, then back to center. I only do it when I’m certain I won’t lose control or injure anyone-clear weather, no oncoming cars or any beside me, plenty of distance between me and the person in front of me, and both hands on the wheel for the swerve. The key is to make sure you’re in a position where you’ll only freak out the person directly behind you. It works like a charm every time. They quickly pull back and stay back.

Another sound bit of advice would be don't instigate a situation with random strangers on the road because you never know who might be willing to jump out of an SUV with two or three of his buddies that are also legally carrying and might be faster than you are. Even if he did cut her off, she had all that time leading up to the light to ease off the gas pedal. 5 over the speed limit isn’t speeding tho, 10 above is the minimal you can get pulled over for, at least in Florida. 22:30 the motorcycle was an idiot. He could have easily pulled over after the turn- there was literally a parking lot to pull into. By doing that right at the light, you’re holding up the lanes and causing some people to miss the light, which is unfair. It would be understandable if you were literally merging onto the freeway or something but this is a simple road with room to pull over
@mog75013 жыл бұрын

@@ShamuAquatics that sounds very.... dangerous. it does seem pretty residential so hopefully cars are going slower, but i imagine suddenly stopping because a pedestrian is in the road would cause more accidents then stopping and letting them cross while they’re still on the sidewalk. they should just put a crosswalk there or something lol

@droplifter34353 жыл бұрын
You're actually legally required to move over when an emergency vehicle needs to pass.... perpendicular, not any farther forward. And each lane next to you does the same. Why people can't understand this is beyond me. What were they supposed to do, merge in the ordinary fashion like they must have done every single time before? It's a good thing they made sure to tell the emergency vehicle all about it. They nearly got past and left so quickly they didn't realise it wasn't that driver's fault at all. I hope they wrote it down too. These things are hard to know from simply being right behind the car the second before.

@@droplifter3435 What clip are you watching?? Because the clip I saw and everybody else saw was that car linger next to the cammer instead of just driving up a little more forward and then taking the lane that the cammer was offering up without protest. And no one is arguing WHY they wanted to change lanes. That’s not the point. The point is, here is the space to change lanes, TAKE IT; don’t just linger and then act like you never had the opportunity to change lanes because they did. Plenty of opportunity.
