This is one of Kobe's most epic games because of the damn shots he made in the face of great defense. Nobody made tougher shots than Kobe. Nobody.

What a treat it was to watch this series live..Kobe shot 52% FG and 43% from 3. Averaged 33.7 points, 7.2 reb, 8.3 ast, 0.8 stl, 1.2 blk. With a damaged index finger and pinky on his SHOOTING hand the entire year. He was just on a mission these 3 years.

Mission to get the most missed shots of all time
@silverarrow2013
@silverarrow2013 7 жыл бұрын
NJB_ 007 I'd rather have that most missed shot instead of having a record or 8 Final's games with only 3 rings and most flops ever made in a career. At least we know why he missed a lot because he did a lot and he scored a lot 3 60pts game 81pts and top 3 at the leading scorer in NBA HISTORY with 33k points only missed one or two final's trophies but got five.

How did Kobe shoot 52% overall and 43% from downtown this series? Like 95% of the shots he took were difficult looks that's a lot even for him.

@KS-jn7bs 7 жыл бұрын
LeBron was not great in that Boston series. He put up 21.3 PPG on 34%FG/15.4%3PT with 6.3 TOV in the last 3 games. This was after Cleveland was up 2-1 with him dominating in games 1 and 3. LeBron did not hold up his end of the deal in 2010. '09? He was great. Did all he could do.
@user-bq3hq6yg3y
@user-bq3hq6yg3y 7 жыл бұрын
Kevin Surur I disagree. He had a bad game 5 but that was the extent of it. 26.8ppg, 9.3rpg, 7.2apg, 2.2spg, 1.3bpg, 55.6 TS% for the series, all whilst locking up Pierce (34.5 FG%). Along with a 27 point/19 rebound/10 assist (sub-par efficiency, though) performance facing elimination... and he shot a 60.0 FG% in the clutch throughout the series.
@KS-jn7bs
@KS-jn7bs 7 жыл бұрын
ᴘʀɪᴍᴇ ᴛɪᴍᴇ So you're not going to mention how he went 8-21 and had 9 turnovers in Game 6? Wow... Also you used TS% for LeBron but used FG% for Pierce. What's up with that? Is it because LeBron shot 44.7%FG and 26.9%3PT for the series?
@user-bq3hq6yg3y
@user-bq3hq6yg3y 7 жыл бұрын
Kevin Surur you can use TS% for Pierce if you want... 43.9 TS%... still piss-poor. And 27 points on 21 shots isn't bad, at all...

I don't know about that... you know that in 2008 - 2009 - and 2010, there were 8 - 6 - and 8 teams respectively with 50+ wins (in other words, two of those years, EVERY playoff team in the West had 50+ wins, and in 2009 6 out of 8 did). Meaning that the competition was stacked around him, and yet he proved able to make it thru it all to the finals all three years. Golden state is a super-team, so it's a little different, but those Lakers had some great chemistry that allowed them to excel in ways that makes it hard to compare the two. And of course, Kobe at this time is a MUCH better closer than anyone on the GS team. So I wouldn't put it past Kobe to upset them.
@enricod.9372
@enricod.9372 7 жыл бұрын
DrePeezy415 Ppl are often prisoner of the moment. And the generational gap between the '17 GSW and the '10 Lakers is roughly 7 yrs. They played under similar circumstances and comparable competition. Its not like im comparing two teams separated by decades. This LA squad is underrated and under appreciated. It had versatile stars across the board like Lamar, Bynum, and Pau (who were all at their peak). They also had talented role players that accepted their roles like Vujacic, Walton, Famar, Artest, Fisher, and Brown. Their chemistry was very impressive and their ball movement/execution is commonly overlooked. Combine all of that with the Zen Master's brilliance and Kobe at his best and you gotta formidable team in any era. These lakers played during the transition from a big man centric NBA, to the guard dominant league we know today, so they have a delicate balance of low post and perimeter play incorporated in their play style. And to top it all off, they beat a Celtics team that had 4 future Hall of Famers in Allen, Pierce, Wallace, and Garnett. This Lakers team is schlept on by all you bandwagon GSW fans that started watching basketball again after the 2015 NBA season. Watch clips of this Lakers squad and reeducate and yourself haters.
