That's the reference car :) 190 could never reach E30 in motorsports, except maybe DTM. Actually it is not an M3 here, this is a 6 cylinder, probably a 325i.

If the World motor sport does open up the age of historics it will be great to see more variety in machinery and perhaps more Mercedes. Yes WRC are fast but I prefer to see many more makes having a go as these are more like the cars sold in showrooms.

Mercedes could easily run a rally1 team for atleast one season and it would be like all their previous entries of only running one or two events n then leaving for decades
