It's interesting how KITT'S character evolved through the series, first he was all too self-assured, cutty, sarcastic, often almost rude, then he became more protective as he acted upon Asimov's first law a lot. Telling dad jokes to a dying Michael is a good example of that. Sometimes he just acted like a mother hen.

Awesome, though I wish the scene from the pilot where they're pulled over by cops after Michael fell asleep could've been included too. KITT: If I may suggest, deafness is always a good approach to law enforcement officers. MICHAEL: You shut up! Probably weaving all over the road.

Andrew you’re absolutely right! It’s great you remembered the scene! I completely remember watching the pilot episode and witnessing that very scene with my brother when I was nearly six years old back in 1982 while being memorised by a futuristic, black, sleek looking, artificially and extremely intelligent talking car that could drive itself which was part of a brand new, fantastic and original tv show with a completely original storyline that included great actors and actresses! Thanks for mentioning it and perfectly quoting word for word Michael and K.I.T.T’s individual dialogue even though it sadly wasn’t included anyway…

When we watch this video, we can see that The show became too serious as the seasons passed. I think Knight Rider’s best season is second season, but at first season; there were many humorous and nice chats between the best tv partners; Michael and KITT.

This is because they tried to go down with this notion to make KITT more human which I have no idea why people were obsessed about. KITT being a computer and trying to understand the human world, and visa versa with Michael, Devon etc understanding KITT make it interested, and allowed for some humorous moments. Like "You're on vacation too KITT, get some sun" and you see KITT pause to think about it, and opens his Ttops.

It's because of watching the video I've decided to do something I haven't done in a long time, go on a knight rider binge marathon. I remember buying the blu rays and stopping after watching Goliath years ago when it 1st came out.
