@7:05 to 7:30 are absolute peak KR IMO. The camera work, sound effects and directing are outstanding . When Goliath makes the turn inside the mountain base his sheer size and power is truly shown.

@fictiontheorizer4253 I think they had tentative plans for a third outing for Goliath. They rebuilt it once from a wreck so it is possible to rebuild a second time. It's the world of science fiction so anything can be achieved. Big Rid Karr would've been amazing.

He wanted to take them out.. go over the cliff,but she turned the wheel not to hit them..but it's weird on how that scene was written . Kitts stops at the cliff with a grappling hook sitting there .

My guess is Garthe’s desire to kill Michael was greater than his desire to keep himself alive, so he was willing to kill himself if it means Michael gets taken out! 😳

Ha ha! Classic running mammoth off cliff with pheromones. As a trucker I must pick one nit. The fifth wheel would never separate even in flight. The rig could enter space, it could run over a prox-mine, it could phase out of the space time continuum… the fifth wheel never lets go. Everything else here is legit as it pertains to realism. RIP Goliath. It was not your fault.

I often feel the locations and Goliath's fate in the two episodes should've been switched. Like Garthe could've jumped clear of Goliath before going off the cliff and crashing into the ocean at the end of the first episode. Where it could've easily been fished out the water and restored. Then "Goliath Returns" could've been set in Las Vegas followed by the final showdown in the desert with Goliath going up in flames. Only this time with Garthe on board so he'd die for sure. Though I know "Goliath" was set in Las Vegas due to being the Season 2 premiere and "Goliath Returns" was filmed much later.

Adrian saved Michael and kitt by interfering with the big rigs steering wheel causing her and Garthe and Goliath to go over the cliff to their deaths

That's not what happened. Before they all reach the edge of the cliff, Michael made an abrupt right turn, and to keep the car from flying off the cliff due to continuum momentum, he shoots out the grappling hook into the rocks to yank the car back in. Adrian was trying to prevent Goliath from going over the cliff by pulling the steering wheel at the last second but it was too late, the enormous weight of Goliath forced it to go over. Adrian did had a thing for Michael though, even much more than Garthe.

Am I the only person that constantly questioned why was Goliath Towing the trailer around 90% of the time? The trailer was only actually used a couple of times if I'm not mistaken that it had something in it the other 90% of the time it was empty so why was the truck always hauling the trailer around because when you think about it it was dead wait and completely unnecessary and didn't provide anything it's not like there was Munitions or anything in the trailer related to the truck itself

The long trailer gave Goliath more power. That extra weight gave Goliath the advantage of plow-through, the force necessary to bust through most objects in its way. It's just simple physics. Heavier weight can deliever crushing power. Just try to imagine an elephant or rhino without their mega ton body.
