Not going to hit comment just yet, but I'm pre-emptively typing this from the second I heard the name of the ship was Kevorkian Exchange. If you don't know, Dr Kevorkian famously (or infamously) helped people end their lives when it was illegal to do so. So I'm expecting some warcrimes in this one. Hmmm, ok, not the ending I thought I was so smart to intuit. Though the "last Human" did self delete... Surprised once the Alamo was mentioned, that he didn't pull out a Bowie knife to make a last charge.
