I bought the Chantecaille Future Skin Gel this year on your recommendation and have been loving it! I agree about it replacing multiple other products because it sets so well on its own and I haven't had to use a primer or setting spray. I have also been impressed with Make Beauty and picked some products up from them in addition to Fleurtatious from Pat McGrath. I am so grateful for your thoughtful reviews! You've certainly helped me make smart purchasing decisions. I don't have a huge makeup collection, so I don't mind splurging for something that's worth it.

PLEASE do a video on color theory and picking blush. Neutral mauves turn pink for me, neutral rosy browns turn pink. Other neutrals (there’s one that’s kinda the same in the flower beauty blush bombs and the glossier dusk I think) : those turn orangey on me. Same with persona teddy and em cosmetics pearl tea which I thought would be amazing neutrals for me. I think I’ve finally found great mauve/purples: Georgio Armani cool mauve melting blush and there’s a similar shade in Phytosurgence that I’m loving. I bought 2 other Phytosurgence shades that again turned pink on me 😭

Finally completed this EPIC video and I have to say, with very few exceptions, every single makeup product that I found this year and LOVE were discovered with the help of your channel. In some cases you introduced and encouraged me to try new brands by breaking down one of their products and I devoured their other products from there, in other cases you sparked my interest in a certain category of makeup product that sent me down an entirely new rabbit hole, and you (somehow) taught me how to figure out what products and shades will actually work for me. I really could write a novel here but I'll just say that whenever a new product comes out or gets on my radar and I think about purchasing it, 9/10 times I go to your channel and search for your review or patiently wait for a new notification to get to know your thoughts on the product. I’m pretty sure you can pull the sticker off the bottom of the Kaja trio. There’s a hole, and you can poke the pan out. It’s not magnetic, but you can take it out. Not sure about the face stuff, but I have done it with the eye trios.

Lol, the villain makeup! I have been doing a toned down version, "gravitas" makeup, after realizing that "youthifying" myself wasn't the only way to go. I don't mind looking exactly my age -52- and rocking a strong, bold, confident look! It works, I constantly get mistaken for having more authority, & I am playing with it for a subtler, outdoorsy version (I need to somehow look authoritative to the federal employees I partner with, approachable but in charge to everyone, and like I spend all my free time outside lol)

can i just tell you i had been trying to break up with Shape Tape for like two years but i kept having to go back to it... until you recommended the Item Beauty concealer. i was tired of Shape Tape getting more and more expensive despite the fact that it leaks and loses what feels like tons of product and gets all over the other stuff in my makeup bag if i'm not careful. which, being a Virgo Venus, i find infuriating. but the Item concealer is just as good, better priced for my budget, and hasn't fkin leaked! finally i am not in a toxic relationship with Shape Tape anymore so... thank you!

My Mario skin enhancer is nasty with hair too, no matter how careful i am and use a clean brush it still gets gross. However, it's my all time favourite bronzer and i will never be without it. It's so much more than a bronzer it is a "transforming skin enhancer". If you struggle at all with bronzer/ contour it's a must have.

I was fortunate enough to go to London this summer. I got to go to the Suqqu counter in Selfridges, I bought a blush that looked more like a bronzer on me and it was always perfect no matter what makeup I wore. Unfortunately, I have hit pan, and the shade was limited edition. (It's similar to Miel Glacée from Lancome but not close enough) I might have to try that Make bronzer. I'm really enjoying your videos and I really appreciate that you talk about dry skin and how to embrace using color, and talking about contrast etc. very interesting! Apologies in advance, this is a bit of a depressing comment but I have no idea why but hearing about the Blunder cover made me think about the fact that no product seems to be working in my undereye area at all. Especially Blunder cover but anything gathers in my fine lines, even if I use power 😢 Moreover, entering my 40s I feel like makeup now looks patchy on me, when I used to be able to at least enhance my features a bit. I used to love blush on me and now I feel like it looks a bit clownish and patchy and I can't even find the right placement. My skin is always very slightly flakey around the nose and undereyes (I have to be careful with chem exfoliants as well as any active as I've also developed a very stubborn rosacea). Applying almost any product enhances that flakiness. My face has lost lots of volume in my undereyes and my skin looks lackluster and just blah I'll just leave it here but I'd be curious to hear if anyone else has a similar experience

AF94 is pretty good. I have a red lip gloss that's incredibly pigmented from this brand. About-Face is incredible so far. I've only tried their Fluid Eye Paints (I'm definitely trying more when I'm not broke) but they're the only liquid eyeshadows that don't burn when they're drying. They don't crease on me either.

On purple blushes… I have light to medium olive skintone and Givemegliw Queen of the glammed gives me the berry look I can never get from berry/mauve blushes because my skin makes them look fuschia! And when you look at that pan, boy is it an intimidating shade of purple, but don’t get fooled, on my skin, super wearable!!

I recently bought The Ordinary Resveritrol, Furulic Acid serum and the Amino acid serum - game changers for dry skin. They both feel a little oily (resver more so), but they leave a glow like no other - I really don’t need much moisturizer afterwards, although you could apply the oilier one over moisturizing to seal everything in. Loooove. I’m Aeries too, but I’m not the “endless energy take charge wants to be in control center of attention” - pretty opposite of that. My daughter is Sagittarius and it fits her.
