I love the mixing of Anakin’s and Vader’s voices, especially when Anakin says, “Anakin is gone” and it switches to Vader saying, “I am what remains,” further showing that Anakin isn’t actually dead, he’s just been so overpowered by Vader that he doesn’t realize there’s still some Anakin left

It took Vader seeing Anakins son the last connection (beside Leia) he had to Padme the woman Anakin loved, almost killed for Anakin to find the strength to take control back from Vader, which is what the emperor was probably afraid of, that Luke could give Anakin the strength to fight back against Vader and him, only to make it happen himself.

When Vader's mask was destroyed and Anakin's face was revealed, I could feel Kenobi's pain, it's a faith worst than death, seeing someone you really care about in that condition and you can't do anything about it, it's painful and heart crushing. I didn't expect that this episode will be so emotional for me.

Count Dooku used the second style of lightsaber combat out of seven, which is called Makashi, this style of combat was invented before the number of blasters greatly increased in the galaxy, so this style was created specifically for fighting against an opponent with a lightsaber or several opponents with a lightsaber, it is very elegant. If you pay attention, Dooku fights with one hand at most moments, holding the other behind his back - this is the main Makashi stance, he also holds the handle so that the blade is almost an extension of his hand, which is helped by the curved sword hilt, which were used mainly by masters of the second form of lightsaber combat. I loved the use of the chase scene music from TESB, Imperial March, Leia's theme, and the Force theme. Also, the sound of Vader landing his shuttle is the same sound as in some end scenes from RotS, from the ships in those scenes. I find it so interesting how Leia said "will I ever see you again?", just like Anakin. I just realized. When Vader takes a pose preparing to strike again, it's almost like Qui-Gon's pose. Obi-Wan doing Anakin's spin was amazing to see.

When Vader says **"I am not your failure"** , his face is covered in blue light as if Anakin Is accepting the apology from Obi wan . Then his face turns red , when Vader returns with darkness . This was so symbolising in a way that even though He's Darth Vader there's is still some Anakin left in him only those who really know him can take out .(Another instance Ashoka ) and Finally Master Qwai Gon for 5secs after two and a half decades Overally what a great short series which greatly connects the events , also keeping the characters comically accurate . I will be not mad or sad if we don't get a season 2 .

I love that now both Ahsoka & Obi-Wan have cut off a part of Vader’s mask & got to see his actual eyes. The duel with Obi-Wan & Vader was incredible. Him saying "goodbye, Darth", it broke me. Seeing Owen & Beru defending the homestead, makes me think they didn’t go down without a fight in Episode IV. Seeing the Emperor & hearing the Imperial March - chills. That moment between little Leia & Ben with her theme in the background - 🥺 . Qui-Gon finally showing up, the flood gates opened, my nerd tears started flowing. Knowing what Luke & Leia grows up to be, it made me love Star Wars even more than I already do.

This was a beautiful episode made all the more beautiful by your sincere and heartfelt reactions. I actually cried watching you react to the most powerful scenes. This episode was amazing. It's hard to watch Owen and Beru without picturing their smoldering skeletons thrown out like trash in the Tatooine suns, and this episode turned that moment from shocking to deeply tragic. I felt the love and connection between Anakin and Obi Wan more in this episode than at any point in the prequels with that powerful scene where Vader turns back into Anakin for a moment. Moses Ingram was wonderful as Reva. I really hope she returns as a Jedi knight in season 2 and gets an epic duel with the Inquisitors. Finally, I squealed like a ten year old girl seeing Liam Neesan again. Anyway, rant over. I love the show and I love your videos. Keep up the great work!

I felt that the last remnants of anakin skywalker surfaced when he gave obi-wan a final gift. in their first battle, his final words to obi-wan were, "i hate you." In the second battle, he directly blamed obi-wan for what he had become (i believe he said, "you made me what i am") because he knew it would hurt and torment him because he knew obi-wan was so guilt-ridden about it. But at the end of their third battle, he lifted the burden of guilt from obi-wan by stating, he had only himself to blame for turning to the dark side ( "I am not your failure obi-wan"). It was quite a telling statement, and his final gesture of friendship and mercy to obi-wan.

I love the fight! The duel. Made Obi-Wan’s fading into the force in Episode 4 more meaningful. I believe Kenobi was one of the main source of Vader’s hatred. Him passing calmed Vader’s dark side ambition. The precursor to him turning good in Return of the Jedi. Anakin was the Jedi that returned. Not just Luke!

After watching this show, my headcanon is that Owen and Beru caused the death of more Stormtroopers than the Battle of Endor while they were being taken out by the Empire in Episode IV, and the survivors took away the bodies. Nobody can convince me otherwise.

this series was masterfully written, being faithful to canon and tying in elements from other series and story lines. it explained well the gap between episodes 3 and 4. My wife had NEVER seen star wars when we met, and we went to see Rogue One, and she said yea alot of action but i just dont get all the ships and lasers stuff. she had a very difficult time following episodes 7 and 8, (even though i tried at length to explain the story line) and i eventually saw 9 just by myself. she saw i was excited when this series was announced, and we always look for things to do with eachother (even me watching her stupid shows with her lol) so i said OK, heres what were going to do. in order for you to get it, we are going to watch ALL the star wars movies in order (including Rogue One and Solo). so one night we watched eps 1-3, the next night Solo and Rogue One, then the 3rd night eps 4-6 (we skipped 7-9 since they are so unpopular). she loved them. we watched Obi-Wan, and she would now and then comment how some things made a little more sense. she sat awe struck during the Vader/Obi-Wan duel, and when we see Anakin's face after the brutal blow to Vader's helmet she whispered to herself (but loud enough for me to hear) "Anakin... oh no Anakin..." then when he says "Anakin is gone... I am what remains" she started crying. she teared up with joy seeing Qui-Gon and when the show was finally over she looked at me and smiled and said "i get it now"

What a beautiful amazing episode this was the Vader fight scene was amazing but very slightly underwhelming for me, that being said I loved the moment of his mask getting cut of like how Ahsoka did in rebels and how good Ewan did at portraying the emotions! I jumped out of my seat and screamed when he said hello there and when Qui Gon showed up that was the whole icing on the cake. Overall this show had some bad writing moments and convenient moments that were a bit ridiculous but honestly this ending made every bit of it worth it and my heart has been stolen:')

Stupendous job with editing Vader scenes in all his glory. This episode 🤯🤗 the rematch: Kenobi vs Vader, gave us so many references from the past and some from the future. I was waiting for your reaction when Qui-Gon appeared in the final scene, I knew you were going to lose it cause he’s your fav. That reaction got to me but your pouty expression at 21:26 melted my heart.🫠 You are a remarkable reactor.🥰 Colt and i were mesmerized with Count Dooku’s lightsaber. Showing us the lightsabers was a treat for us. Thx, keep on doing an extraordinary job. 👏🏼🫶🏼😃

count dooku's lightsaber is the sexiest lightsaber imo. sana all. his is actually my fav lightsaber of all SW
