I knew the twins and my dad was a henchmen in the Twin Dragon movies. They didn't get government help mostly because they didn't get any permits for anything. I like how a major aspect of The Sopranos was that going to a psychiatrist was sort of a taboo in the mob world because it could potentially be viewed as a sign of weakness, and Tony was very paranoid about people finding out he was seeing one. But in the Born Into Mafia universe, the mob actually has psychiatrists on the payroll, just to convince people who don't want to do things that they should do them.

Serious question: is Born into Mafia supposed to be a modern adaptation of Hamlet? There's an evil uncle who murders his brother to get his throne, and then sets his sights on his brother's son. The son gets disillusioned about the business as a whole, and wonders if any of it is even worth it. Meanwhile, he's being constantly plagued by visions. He's also got two interchangeable friends who are way in over their heads and are killed off unceremoniously.
