Important notice if you are a newbie trader make sure you research for a good working strategy, do not trade naively you might end up blowing your account, secondly finding the need for a mentor? make sure you find one that is a registered investment adviser/broker so you do not get ripped off, a good strategy to look into is the S & T VEK Strategy it is currently working and the creator is registered with good reputation, stay safe out there everyone.

These are the best videos available. Absolutely amazing help. Leave the videos of kids holding cash saying how they made $40k in an hour and watch all of these. This is what makes real traders last.

Great stuff as always Aaron. I have heard these before during the actual episodes, but always great to hear them again! Emotions are easily 90% of trading in my opinion.

I remember when i first started getting stressed with stupid ideas. Riding the wave down has been a lesson. I get pissed about selling for a loss but been optimistic is just as good as fundamentals but the market don't care about emotions

Great compilations Aaron, perhaps a part 3?...The psychology to hang in there until it finally clicks. A couple of your previous interviews that come to mind would be with Adam Ryan episode 12 or Nico episode 096 ( 25 minute mark) amongst many others. Cheers

The importance of a strategy is apparent in the results after a while, knowing how to find a working strategy is important for every trader as well as seeking for the right mentor to guide you. If you seek a mentor make sure you find one that is registered with the appropriate organisation with good review from clients make sure you research on them to be safe, google is your friend. At the moment i trade using the S&T Vek Strategy created by *Nicholas Alexander Kelly* researching these will do a lot of good for any trader seeing this i assure you.

Michael Jordan wouldn't end his practice sessions until he made 10,000 baskets.......Remember, if you don't have a passion for your craft, you'll never reach greatness.....If you don't have a passion for trading, you won't reach greatness, and if you made money by luck, it won't last. Think about it, was Michael Jordan chasing the money, or was he chasing his passion?

Aaron why don't you try to get more losers on the show, that would be more in line with the general trading population. Let's hear about some major life mistakes, and the psychology that got them there.
@XyukonR3 жыл бұрын
Why would we want to hear from losers? Hearing from winners that started off as losers, and how they overcame the losses is way more productive.
@aaronsmyth79433 жыл бұрын
@@XyukonR For realism. There is a lot of delusion in the trading game, and it's easy to confuse that with positivity and enthusiasm, which people will sell you hand over fist. It's quite the car crash. I think my brokers' ratio is 86%, losers to winners. So trading messes a lot of people up, way more than it makes them, and most of it starts with people getting carried away, with respect to profit. It's something you never hear about, though. So how someone rebuilds their life after losing their lot, or how quickly (or slowly!) they realized it wasn't going to happen, or how they accepted failure without doubling down on it etc etc, these are all very important topics, and will apply to the majority of "traders". About 86% of them.
@XyukonR3 жыл бұрын
@@aaronsmyth7943 but that's literally what all of these podcasts are about. Many of the people he talks to blew up many times and came back stronger. I think many of the traders on the podcast don't pull any punches about how difficult it is.
@aaronsmyth79433 жыл бұрын
@@XyukonR That's true, I don't think enough is said about though. What happens when they don't "come back stronger"?
