OMG I was crying big sobs at the end of this. The pain is palatable...you could slice it with a knife....It is so wretched how much pain most of us carry, never finding the healing necessary before we transition. Namaste'

I still cant believe these two didnt get a nomination at the oscars, those were two absolutely phenomenal performances, it was the best performance of Lance Henriksen entire career and another excellent from Viggo Mortensen, this scene was powerful and sad, 1:23 and 2:50 this breaks my heart, man I still cant believe people like Cher or Gwyneth Paltrow had an oscar

Haven't seen the movie yet but it's about time Lance got some quality stuff. Not that he lacked work but he was stuck in b-movies since like the end of Millennium? Some of them are good tho i admit, alwsys watchable thanks to him.

It's Henriksen...!! It's Norwegian, Eriksson is swedish and doesn't spell nowhere the same. Henrikson, his most common misspelling, is a swedish name aswell, i know because i am swedish, just get it right it ain't that hard!

My dad wasn't quite this bad, but he was the same old school type as Lance portrays here. He also never told me he was sorry, ever, but he did tell me he loved me a few times that I can remember. Maybe 2 or 3 times in 36 years. It taught me a valuable lesson about my own kids. It's built into us dads to be tough. We're taught from the moment we're born to be tough and not show emotion. Even today I have trouble with it because I'm dad and I'm supposed to be the strong, tough one. One thing i always do is tell them I love them, though. And I'm not afraid to say sorry.
