In this video we will take a look at some of the Antivirus Cloud Scanners that are free to use for removing malware, virus, trojan, rootkits, bootkit, backdoor, adware and many other types of computer infections. We will be using Panda Cloud Antivirus cleaner, Kaspersky, Comodo cloud scan, Eset Online Scanner, Bitdefender, HitmanPro, and Tiranium. I be using fresh download virus about 353 virus in all.
Lets see what comes out on top, I won't be installing these viruses, so they won't be running as a process.

Linux is great if you love Linux, I myself like the look and feel of Linux...but would I use it instead of Windows?..No That's not to say I don't like Linux, because I do. Is Linux more secure than Windows...Yes. If you want to use Linux learn to use it like you would any other OS.

I am confused. Your are running Cloud based antivirus programs but yet you are starting them from a desktop icon. So did you have to "install" this link icon? Maybe I don't understand the definition of Cloud Based. I thought it meant you could do a scan without installing anything on the test computer. Also, near the end you run Eset which does not appear to be cloud based. I thought these were suppose to be all cloud based. Help me out here, please. Thanks for your time, Tom

Hi Tom, Yeah Eset Online Scanner is not a cloud scanner, but I wanted to add it into the mix, all the others are cloud based scanners.

Brian, Great videos… instructive. I use these videos in train exercises with other techs. But need help on getting some test viruses like what you had. Eset has some but no real world running viruses. Do you have a torrent address or other location? Thanks, Nathan

Hey Brian. I have HitManPro on my Windows 7. It can scan junk files and all of the other nasty stuff on my computer, too! But does avast! has the best antivirus cloud scanner? Or Malwarebytes?

Devon there is nothing wrong with using Avast Antivirus, Malwarebytes Pro and HitmanPro on one machine.

Hello can you tell me what in your opinion is the best free virus protection is. According to Av-Test are 360 and Panda Cloud Internet Security Qihu the best of the best before Avira or Avast. Have you ever tested the China Software 360 Internet Security? Thanks in advance;)

I appreciate the effort, but without any conclusions/judgments its just a video of ?So...I have to ask myself, What did I just learn? Which one will I choose to use going forward? Which ones offer to, and are able to clean the infections? Which ones take the longest? Which ones are resource hogs? By making this video are you implying that your computer based programs such as MalBytes etc are not good enough and that one needs an online scanner? It's nice to watch your videos, but after 20 minutes Im now left with more questions then when I started.

I see your point, trouble is to do a removal process, I would need to make sure the exact same viruses were installed and running to make it a fair test. I will be testing these cloud scanners at removing viruses to see if they can do the job, its one thing detecting, but it also matters how they cope with removing, so I will make a video on that. I also did not imply malwarebytes etc are not good enough, I said you can use them with your Antivirus programs. I do have a limited amount of time, and all your asking is great, but in the real world it takes many man hours and I am one man with a busy life style, I try and fit in what I can. I will cover other areas with these cloud scanners, but not in one video. If you want to post some of your question, if I can answer them I will do so.

I have a really bad experience with both BitDefender and Kaspersky, bought both in the past and they ruined my PC in one way or another. I tried the free tool from Kaspersky that you gave, it does the scan alright, but nothing more, doesn't fix anything. (so useless if you don't want/know to manually remove)

I wasn't pleased with Kaspersky. I downloaded it and it did indeed detect a few things, however instead of fixing the issues it would direct me to their website to buy some of their products. That's not cool at all.

Yeah, me too. It just finished scanning literally a minute ago (from the time when this comment was posted) and it founds some problems, I clicked Fix Now and told me to buy it. It sounded like a Rogue, but it is not.

Pretty sure Tiranium is that rebadged VB scanner that does more harm than good. Rougeamp and danoct1 made a video on it messing up their PC.

Yeah that was the Antivirus program that Rougeamp tested, this was just the cloud base scanner which worked OK and did detect a lot of infected files.
