Highly recommend the lightning otf. Bought it about 1 year ago and 4 months ago I dropped it in a crevice in someone’s boat. Finally got it out and still works perfectly even with it getting thrown around and water splashing on it. May have to buy another

I bought mine last year, use it daily....absolutely love it. You know those times you're working and you need to quickly cut something, these are perfect. Open, cut, close, pocket, all one handed. No putting down the work to open the knife. So nice.

I just bought 3 knives within a month. The lighting otf and the automatic defender otf. Both great. Got the mini firecracker in the mail and it broke within the first hour. Make sure to buy the medium to large scale knives.

the main issue i have with OTF knifes is my fear of a accidental deployment...i mean if i have this hing clipped and on the inside of my pocket and i go to sit down and hit that switch forward accidently the blade will shoot into my hip....why dont these knifes have safty locks?

Well, they don't have a safety for the same reason Glocks don't have safeties. But ponder for a second, if it's in your pocket and you somehow fire it by accident, it's just gonna go straight out, like, along the plane of/parallel to your leg. For it to fire into your hip and/or leg you'd have to somehow manage to carry it perpendicular to yourself? Just not an issue, don't worry about it.

1) it's KNIVES. 2)The button is the safety. It takes more force than you think to activate it 3) the blade doesn't fire with much force. If the blade hits you while it's firing forward,you'll get poked, maybe a small cut, but that's it. It's not gonna blow through your thigh. Most otfs won't even go through a piece of paper when firing.
