Nice to see the old place again, it must be 65 years since I was in there. Being a "geordie" expat living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, I miss the standard English foods. One of my favorite typically English things to eat is Black Pudding, haven't been able to get any in western Canada. That stew was making my mouth water. Keep on doing the great videos around my birthplace.

Always try and make it there on my lunch break. Really popular. You even missed out some highlights for me - French oven / pet lamb bakery are superb. Matthews cheese is brilliant value too! The two Chinese places you showed are great - Dumpling and bun - lovely family owned place that is incredibly popular and for good reason. you can watch them rolling the dumplings in the background. Ask for selection if you can't decide! If struggling get the pork and cabbage and a BBQ pork bun - thank me later! They've been long time residents in Grainger. - The noodle bar and Chinese burger place is honestly the most authentic Chinese in the city. The food is on the pricey side for Grainger but portion sizes are large. There may be Chinese pop music but if you want a taste of China that's your place. Cash only and not everyone speaks English but you'll get fab grub. They've been around a long time too through thick and thin with Covid. It's always got a healthy number of students missing a taste of home in which is always a good sign.

So much better than a supermarket - that set up. There's a shop, there, that only sells batteries! We need places where all the shop-holders collaborate rather than compete with each other. All having their specialisations but not trying to take each other's custom (it seems, these days, venues are always trying to drive diversity to extinction (and then, once they have a captive market, their quality starts to fall)). I hope that, for instance, the eateries near the coffee shop aren't selling coffee - they need to collaborate and not tread on each other. That's what drives excellence.
