@@Kevin-vj2ut Ah yes, can't be a niche genre without that one person commenting that it's underrated or not mainstream friendly. The world absolutely knows it exists and the same time it doesn't. Sorry for coming at you like this lol, it's just a pattern I see in a lot of "niche" communities.

Post rock just hits differently sometimes. Depending on how you're feeling, a seemingly happy tune can feel like a slideshow of your childhood, showing moments of joy, sorrow, and a youthful child with dreams and aspirations. When I see these images, I'm brought to the idea that I've really done nothing with myself. Those memories soon become the memories I wish to start from again. Seeing those images almost as a subtly lit hue while behind me is shrouded with nothing, no darkness, no light, no idea of what resides beyond that expanse, an uncertain future, dead dreams. I wish for my life to be different but I know it's a fruitless thought and only hastens the existential thoughts. I feel almost completely empty and idk where I'm going. I don't have a goal of where I want to be and even if I did, what's the point? Happiness seems like a delicious treat but only temporary. The emptiness slowly creeps around me, pulling me into as pain, tears, and self loathing makes its way out. Life can be beautiful for only for a tiny instance. Everything is temporary so why bother when I can live in a fantasy in my own mind that has infinite possiblities. Tomorrow I'll forget I ever felt this way. Tomorrow I'll never even think about this. Tomorrow will be different. That's what I think keeps me going. Though I'll never off myself, giving up seems very tempting when trying seems like a boundless and pointless venture. Maybe one day I'll truly be happy. One day I'll stop being pathetic.

Don't live the past. It's a dead end. Been there, done that. Actually I'm still doing that, but finally seems like less and less with the time. For example yesterday I got rid of one sentiment, at the same time cutting off all the grief, unfulfilled dreams, and countless possibilities that could potentially lead to even more wasted time. What a relief it was. Simply put: Just get on with stuff. Get yourself a pet or join me in video games online. You never know what might make you tick 😉

Start by choosing a goal for your life, like a great thing to accomplish over time. Your goal might evolve on the way there. When you're guided to something you think is worth acting or fighting for, now it's really worth it. I want to build a better world for future generations. It's something bigger than me, so I start things at my level. Then I'll work with others who have the same goal. We can do it 💪
@dolce33253 жыл бұрын
This is like a hidden world, it seems like no else know that this beautiful thing exists. But that's what makes it even better, you won't hear it in the radio or in the most viewed videos section so you can go to your bed at night and make it yours knowing that only a few are enjoying it with you and they are not there just because is popular but because they love it as much as you do and that gives you a good feeling :) Have a good night everyone, wish you the best.

If a song is popular, it just means more people love it, as much as you, or more or less. How can it make you enjoy less the song? It's the same when fewer people know the song, some love it more than you, and some love it less.
@pauIlo2 жыл бұрын
@@subu_versus No, there's a lot of reasons to a band or artist to become a mainstream popular music. It's like a race. Every race has one that will finish first as number one, but that doesn't mean that the racer was the best one or good than the others. He only finished at first. And people will always like most mainstream songs, being ''good or bad music''. Although every music, genre, can be good, depend if you enjoy it. The popular artist is just ''excelent'', although people will always make idolatry, theory of conspiration just for try to explain ''how good the mussician is good'', that even is a ''God that born to make difference in the history of the world''. It's bulshit, I'm sure there are many musicians so good as these popular musicians, and they can be reading this right now.

For many people this year was a shitty one, but to me it was quite the opposite. I lived harsh things the first half of the year, but the second one I got free. I discovered post-rock at the exact same time when I started putting an end to my depression. The first tracks I listened to back then are still in my mind, and I treasure them as they helped me find the strength to carry on in my healing time. I am thankful to the creators of post-rock all around the world and thankful to this one person who makes these awesome playlists. Forever, thank you 💛 I'd like to share the most precious post-rock song to me, hoping it can maybe help you like it helped me. Lol, It's Almost The Opposite For Me, The First Part Of The Year Was Pretty Decent For Me, But Then In The Latter Part, Especially The Last 3 Months, I Found Out I Was Depressed (Or Possibly Became As Such, I'm Not Quite Sure...), Around The Same Time I Found Post-Rock, And Then Slowly Became More Depressed Until The End Of The Year... But Hopefully I Can Do Better This Year, Get Back To The State I Was In At The Start Of Last, I Still Have Hope, And Music, And With Those Two Things I Should Be Able To Make It Through!

Post rock is that song you listen to when you're in space and a sudden feeling of loneliness hits you as you look around the cosmic bodies floating around in this vast emptiness and confines that may devoid of life and as you contemplate what humanity has done all these years of creation and how you got to this point and gotten to space, you then remember that yes, you are thousands of kilometers away from where life actually may only exist, earth, that you are far away from your kin, that lonely feeling haunts you, yet you're surrounded by glimmers of light watching over you, you are alone yet you are not...

This sounds for me like when you open up about something you never spoke about: mental illness, abuse, maybe leaving a toxic person. Right after you cease crazy-crying, it comes the feeling of finally starting to heal, that everything has sucked for the longest time but from now on you're free to get better, to heal. I'm not sure if this is relatable, but it's what it reminds me of

MOST of it was in 7/8, and I don't think you hear TOO much post-rock stuff outside of your typical 4/4 meter (at least I haven't, thus far). ;-) DEFINITELY wanna check out that band more, as well as other bands, that venture outside the proverbial 4/4 (as I've ALWAYS had an ear, from a VERY EARLY age, for progressive rock, jazz, jazz fusion, progressive metal, lesser-known classical music, et al). ;-)

I do not know anything about post rock. I googled guitar pedal board alternative routing and found a video how to set guitar pedal boards for post rock, now I am here with you lively and lovely people. P. S Reminds me of Mogwai, Early Pink Floyd and Arab Strap. There are some elements of Progressive rock hear.

This is a beautiful set of music. I would like to see it developed to ten hours or a bit more for sleep. It is not entirely smooth, but it rivals much of the ambient. The songs gathered in this mix are very well done. Thank you for making life better. God bless you.

Llevo escuchando esta recopilación desde el 2021, y pues me ayuda mucho relajándome, más la primera canción que reproduce, me ayuda a estar tranquilo ya qué hay veces que uno necesita estar solo por tantos problemas.
