Sirius panels are manufactured just west of Houston, TX. 3 other PV manufacturing facilities from other brands are slated to open in TX and each of these facilities typically employs between 100-500 people. While some components are still imported, the increase in domestic PV production is a positive move towards greater self sufficiency for US Solar. Glad to see these are high quality panels! 👍

I mounted my 465w vertical in the open, also could make a fence out of it. Heavy rain 76w, overcast 125w, summer (no white rock boost) 300w, sun and snow 569w @-10F. Vertical mounted, only clean the panels once a year, snow has never stuck in 40 snowfalls. Maximum #'s on the shortest days and 75% in summer with hours of direct sun over 15 hours it all works out. One video claimed lower panel temps I don't have a temp gun to confirm. I make simple 2x4 ground mounts, can hold panels up to 94"x 46" 6 2x4 per panel, every 2 panels require one cut, add weight to the ends or make a detachable mount with wheels in severe weather areas, a single person could move a 2-panel array into a barn. Hail does less damage on vertical glass, the larger it is the straighter it falls into a flat faced 2x4. New video soon with a complete ver 3.0 mount, 36 2x4 to hold 6x 550w BF panels.

@@robert4027 I found out through their customer support that if you sign a waiver saying they are not responsible for any damages, they will allow you to order less than 10 panels. I have ordered 5 from them the other day and they aren't here yet, but hopefully there will be no issues. I bought a couple extra in case something happened to one of them in shipping. I'll use them for another project later if there is no damage.

LOL, What did you do with the 6000XP's? Man you are nearly as bad as i am . You have driven me to the conclusion I should have made videos of my solar expedition that started last spring, if only i weren't so damned ugly :), I have come a long way since the HF 4 panel 100W system that bored me to the point of grabbing a couple of their 100W panels. I don't have anyone sending me anything and I am poor so its slow but it became a hobby and then quickly a challenge hobby. I have tested oddities others haven't and currently have my panels set up in a non typical way. Key points i have noticed is that people seriously underestimate the effects of angle and temp on solar production, it is extreme....

@Rodney that panel looks identical to my Aptos DNA panels, size and weight is also almost identical as well, i think they are the same just different companies in the USA are assembling them, thats cool because in the future if one of them goes out of business i can always use another identical one from a different company, BTW how is the 12Kpv are you going to release a video on that!! I have been waiting!! I need to see how you take advantage of the grid-tie zero export function! Awesome feature of that inverter similar to the 18Kpv.
