This was SO helpful! I don’t use dry shampoo that often so I bought the bumble and bumble pret a powder mini almost 2 years ago and I’m nearing the end and looking for something similar. I think powder is so much easier to control than aerosol. I will definitely look for the Trader Joe’s one!

Thank you for this!! I’ve been trying to find a new powder dry shampoo after Alterna changed their caviar formula and I used the last of it. I’ve had allergic reaction to some others out there (like the BrioGeo one) and absolutely loathe the aerosol ones. I’ll check these out!

Hi! Have you both tried the Briogeo dry shampoo powder? I have been using it for years and think you would like it. It soaks up the oil and gives the best volume/lift that holds all day! I tried the Trader Joe’s on your recommendation but I end up having to use way more product and the greasy feeling comes back in a couple hours - which I don’t experience with Briogeo. You should definitely check that one out! Thanks for this video!

I got the Trader Joe's dry shampoo! Is it just me or is the pump just a struggle to deal with? Any tips on how to get it to properly work? I do like it...when stuff comes out 😂

It seems like the pump is hit and miss! Carli's was fine and my first one I had to de-pot in a shaker bottle since it kept getting stuck. I've sense repurchased and it works totally fine!

You can unscrew the top and put it back on to kind of push the powder up into the pump!😊 That’s what I do!

When you guys say “volume” do you mean like a hairspray/grit feeling?? The only reason I ask is because the one dry shampoo I have ever used that was advertised as volumizing was the igk charcoal dry shampoo and it definitely did give volume but it left a slight gritty almost like hairspray that had been brushed out feel to the roots

Definitely more subtle than that! If you've ever tried a texturizing powder, this is a toned-down version. Adds some texture to the hair which adds some volume but doesn't need to be brushed out over and over. Hope that makes sense!
