The only issue I had with Skytech is their RAM. It says 32gb of RAM but the CL speed is not typically top of the line. I bought one 2 years ago and found out the ram (16gb) was very basic and rather than 3200mhz, it was 2444mhz. Did it work for the PC, yes, but it was not what most would have expected. I had to upgrade it to 32gb, 3200mhz, CL16 ram in order for my gaming to actually be stable enough to run. They also tend to skimp on the SSD/NVME quality as well. My only recommendation would be to try and leave a little space for quick upgrades to RAM or NVME. Otherwise, I would say Skytech is a reliable company that will provide somewhat decent prebuilds.

All my PCs in last 25 years were prebuilt. Yesterday I built one myself and it was great experience. It's actually only stage 1 with bare minimum, currenly running Ryzen 7600 with stock cooler and integrated graphics, so it's just to use it casually, but eventually 9800x3D goes in, AIO cooling, dedicated GPU and we'll be talking serious gaming. Can't wait.

Would make a dedicated GPU first thing you do, might be happy with that 7600 :D

Zack (ZTT) talked about that issue in a video a while back. He recommends AMD mostly for people building their own pc but his company only offers nvidia in their prebuilts because to the avg buyer nvidia has more brand recognition so the pcs sell better.

To those considering pre-builts versus building one yourself, I support your choice, but you have to watch Jason from PC Builder to get the most out of your money. He knows these parts like the back of his hand and talks about them often enough in his videos to have each one memorized. He’ll provide value for your dollar every time-I promise you. I copied his 5950X build from one of his older videos a few years ago, and I’m still using it as I type this comment. He knows his stuff.
@GRIGGINS110 күн бұрын
You get better deals buying directly from the Manufacture than from New Egg or Amazon. And you get better parts.
@edwin462510 күн бұрын
@GRIGGINS1 I think you missed the point of my comment. Basically, I was saying that Jason knows these PC parts really well because he makes videos about them over and over again. He’s memorized the performance of each component and also remembers their prices. This allows him to analyze the specs of pre-built PCs and tell his audience-especially those who don’t want to build their own PCs-which ones provide the best value for their money. Jason has this knowledge because he’s memorized the power and price of nearly every PC component as part of his job.
@GRIGGINS110 күн бұрын
@edwin4625 it is still bad advice tell people to buy from New Egg. When you can literally save money buying directly from the SI.

I just posted a 4070 ti super deal today, but Nvidia often doesn't do sales unless it has to. The 7800X3D is still too in demand to go on sale. Generally sales revolve around parts they are looking to clear out. But we may still see prices keep dropping closer to the actual Black Friday.

Oh, my initial validation that I watched the entire video taking into account all your good channel observations here on prebuilt is hearted. Plus I updated all the CPU low price data last week from your CPU report Jason. I will eventually get to your (change in) price data incorporating into my change in supply data to work up a new total cost on total revenue assessment to determine hard cost of a CPU or of a graphics card. On the dGPU side for a 'public' how figure out dGPU card cost from the AIB, similar to the one I currently rely for Ada, that trigger is gamer whin, to resolve the whining when Blackwell rolls out albeit I think the performance bump will be worth is for the price ask. My aim is to deploy the tool so anyone can figure cost : price / margin on a cost depreciated basis over the cards volume full run. What this will show is, on data now, is that retail is the major margin winner (taker) not AIBs or Nvidia. On the shadowing, there are a few more and it can be abusive especially in live chat tech conference coverage live 'on the floor' video which presents an employment environment in my work profession subject audit. On other shows shadowing is more used in the context of barricading the herd in that Toms Town or Burkeville or Ian's Empire. Brae, let's consider Brae, shadowed, in that one-on-one selling environment I get that but I'm a member of the audience too gathering data and I can of course be lurking. Here too on this comment line. But the association barrier is ripe for correction and Intel Inside recovery foremost on my list currently my time taken up so the Tech Tube address is down my to do list. I hope the word will get out among broadcasters that I plan to address this 1st association and workforce blacklist or boycott basically issue, a form of harassment especially when occurring in an industry (conference) working environment especially and that broadcasters will figure out how to error correct coming to some reasonable accord so you are free to mentions this to any other broadcaster you might associate with. Many do not I have found but some do so please spread the word. I will recognize PC Builder in my post Friday/Monday awards. I hope association across (among) tech tube sites finds its reasonable accord. I will also say there are greater issues for example associated dissing Arrow by some game land sites knowing that applications were and were not optimized but dissing instead of saying give it some time. That act in Au$$ie land tied to Northern Europe distribution Sales was economically de$tructive restraining Intel flow and favoring AMD flow and I am very familiar with this concert tactic from when I once worked with big hard copy PC Meda publishing houses working with $ales distribution for end seller affiliate tokens. I hope you as a leading voice in tech tube will think about these audit observations and that tech tube will become a better 'best practice; place, on reviews that consider the best practice framework of new introductions as they roll out stating questions why poor application performance in relation slamming, not here necessarily, you chose your words more carefully to avoid that issue, so please continue to stay away from industry and channel economically destructive acts. If you ever confer with HUB land that actually is less than a Bund Town than Burkeville (who will get a recognition for just Arrow data with much less dissing at day 1 and Tim at HUB for RT comparisons) then there is Tom's Town what a hard head, you are welcome to relay my observations. Walton did get a mouth full from me so I'm not asking you to do something I have not but to be an advocate for change. mb

So a couple of issues with this one. 1 I can't recommend 14th or 13th gen Intel right now due to the degradation issues. 2 this is an OEM so keep that in mind. 3 This is way overpriced when you could get our top 4k gaming recommendation for the same price (linked in description) with a 7800X3D (more powerful for gaming, no issues, and great upgrade path for years to come) which would give you better gaming performance and kick major butt at video rendering. But if you feel like you need more cores then save money, get yourself in a platform that has life to it, no degradation issues, and go for our 7700X high GPU Combos linked in the description.

This is one I'd recommend for gaming/production combo! Its such a great deal you can easily add more storage and still be way way under the price of the one you were looking at. howl.link/8azuca7suem8g (affiliate link) But it depends on what you do. If you do professional level video production (its your source of income) I'd look at some 7900X prebuilt options out there.
