Love my AR630 unit. It’s quiet, well built, and easy to use. I’ve got it mounted on the BigBoi WashR Pro wall mounting reel. The AR630 fits well on the shelf after you readjust the supplied AR mounting plates and drill mounting holes on the reel shelf to align with AR unit. I was waiting for the BigBoi WashR Pro pressure washer and got tired of BigBoi’s failure to distribute/deliver a unit in the US and then made the decision to get the AR. A good decision it is and glad that I made the move.

I got a lightning deal on Amazon for a AstroAI Wide Neck Foam Cannon, with 1/4 Inch Quick Connector Plug to Pressure Washer, 1.0mm Orifice,1 Liter Capacity, Orange Lable for $5.79. It works AMZINGLY well! I even recommended it at the regular price of $15.99, it already has the 1.0mm Orifice, I used it with a Harbor Freight Portland 1750 PSI electric pressure washer, 50' Uber flex hose, and HF Pressure Washer Stubby Spray Gun with quick connects on all. My full setup was $193.97 and works fantastic.

I got the Go from AVA of Norway after watching IMJOSHV's review. For $250 you get a quality washer plus 40ft of quality hose, an "unbreakable" foam cannon as good as the MJJC (half a container's worth will snow my car 2x), some other great accessories. Cost for a short gun add on is $15. Not too noisy either. Oh yeah, register it and there's a five year warranty at which you will get an upgrade kit and warranty extension of five more years!

My first pressure washer was one from Menards. After the first year, I've realized that the limit to efficiently washing my vehicles and toys is my pressure washer and hose. I'm going to spend some money, in the future, and get a great washer with a 50ft hose and short gun.

I had a pressure washer hose (simpson) that lasted for three uses with a new gas pressure washer (3100psi/2.4gpm). The first upgrades were a better longer 50' hose, an additional higher quality 25' hose with a good gun wand and QCs where needed. Next was an armor all foam cannon w/1.1 jet replacement that shoots shaving cream if I want that type of coverage. I need a good swivel and I need to install the 250ez unloader that's collecting dust. If I can get those final 2 upgrades installed, I should have an excellent cleaning system.

The Active VE52 and 2.0 will put out about 1900-2000psi with a 2.5 orifice nozzle and run well on a 15amp circuit and have better flow than any of the budget washers if you need a little more cleaning power for around the house. I bought myself a simoniz platinum pressure washer recently (VE52) and it's great for everything i need it to do as an enthusiast and a home owner, also put a 50' Uber flex and haven't had any issues with surging, they revised the pressure switch to help with issues.

I just got an active 2.0. I’ve got a powerful belt driven gas washer for my pool deck and walkway. An electric washer is a totally different animal. It cycles on and off, it’s quiet and powerful enough for a car. Did upgrade the foam cannon (Adam’s), hose (50 ft) and short gun. I would buy the same setup again.

I bought a Comet 1700 Static pressure washer in 2019, upgraded the gun and added an MTM foam cannon right away and it has been great. Integrated wall mount and reel with a decent hose. 1.9 gpm/1000 psi with a 4.0 orifice and runs great on a 15 amp circuit. I have since updated to a Cox hose reel and the newer 100-ft long blue hose from Obsessed Garage (very flexible, durable and easy to clean). I will likely upgrade to a Kranzle (or possibly dual Kranzles) someday, but that is a ways off. Completely overkill for my needs, but I'm a sucker for high quality tools and equipment. A Porsche may not be attainable for me, but I'd be happy with the Porsche of pressure washers. 😆

I am still rocking the Active 1.0 (sold as Simonize at Canadian Tire here) and will do until it dies. I immediately upgraded it with an MTM kit (short swivel gun + wand, 50' hose and foam cannon) from Carzilla, which cost more than the pressure washer itself, but offered a much better experience. We'll see once the pressure washer dies what I replace it with, but I am not sure it is really worth investing more as the performance of that cheap pressure washer is still pretty dang good. I also recently got a DeWalt 60V "power cleaner" for my rinseless wash set up and, although it is a bit bulky and heavy I use more than the pressure washer as I siphon a rinseless solution making things a bit quicker and efficient. It should also be great in winter, when I can't use the pressure washer at all.

for anyone else starting. get a westinghouse epx3100 2100-2300 psi. mr pink soap(either one), a gun with a swivel i got mckillian cuz they respond to customers, atleast one rag company drying towel (like liquid8tor) they glide across the car. Uber flex hose, car interior detailing kit (takavu), suds lab tire shine applier, a grit guard for your bucket/buckets. quick disconnect kit for ur tools and hoses, Wash mitts(2-3)(aidea), tool daily foam cannon for pressure washer. Lastly you could get a 40 degree nozzle for ur gun to wash cars better from mckillans, and a tire brush for the rubber part and not the rims, along with some adams tire cleaner if u need a go to one this one’s it

Had a ryobi 1600, started making a funny noise after a few years, so i replaced it with a greenworks brushless, which has a higher gpm than most entry level electric, but unfortunately has a moment to wind up before it starts spraying with pressure when you pull the trigger. Not too bad, just gotta be efficient and spray and foam the entire car at once.

I have a cheap $100 craftsman from Lowe’s. Is it the greatest? No. But it does what I need it to do and I love it. The only thing I hate is having to deal with a hose. there is a good idea, I want a set that will allow you to connect two Ryobi into one powerful setup. Even if you have to use two sockets, this is not a problem due to the length of the cable. This will be about 2.3 gpm with 1400-1600 psi. Cheaper and better options than a $1000+ power washer

In car detailing i never really see any hot water pressure washers like Hotsy's or NorthStar being used. Outside of them being expensive, is there a reason why detailers do not use them? Most have a temperature control so i feel you could add some heat without damage. Most things always seem to clean better with heat in my experience. I am curious if these would be part of the "dream" setup or if there are negatives to using them on a personal vehicle.

My set up started as an el cheapo pressure washer that was on sale then that helped with washing. The next year upgraded the sprayer and foam cannon. The following year I figured out my big pain was the hose so I got a 50 foot hose with a reel. Its crazy to think I have a $130 pressure washer with $600 in upgrades lol but its not that bad when you enjoy doing it and spread it out. Get started and when something seems annoying or like it could be better then when your ready to upgrade those are the things you upgrade. My best upgrade tho is CR Spotless its nice to not have to worry about water spots

Thing about electric pressure washers cheap ones you cannot get parts to repair them .when they tear up you need to buy another one .expensive ones you can get parts and repair them .cheaper gas pressures do not have a divert valve on them and if you leave them running it will burn up the pump.

I am dissapointed with the Ryobi EZClean 600 PSI. I really want to try out the new Dewalt 1000 PSI 60v system (DCPW1000B 60V MAX). Might have a chance at making a real foam cannon work. The Ryobi just doesn't have the oomph for a real foam cannon. I even tried dropping down to 0.9 orifices in three different foam cannons, but not enough flow / pressure to get foam.

@@AMI_Detail Its for sure meant more for rinseless wash more than a foam wash. The 1200 PSI battery one from Ryobi will foam good though. 1K PSI and 60 volts let us know how it goes that seems a bit heavy. I prefer the RYOBI 18v ez clean as its much lighter than the 40v one.

What about those of us in SoCal with so many water restrictions? I use portable DI water from my laboratory and some of Keav's advice for Fanttik products. Fanttik just came out with a cordless 15 liter, up to 725 psi product. I tend to really like Fanttik products and use the DIY products almost exclusively. Wondering if anyone has tried out this new product and if Keav might be testing it out soon. It seems ideal for those of us living with intense water restrictions. I've used the Fanttik NB8 Nano Portable Pressure Washer that Keav recommended with DI water to rinse my car and the 1.8L Cordless Electric Foam Sprayer, 2000mAh Car Wash Foam Gun from Amazon that Keav demonstrated with DIY Incredible Suds with much success, but would like something with a bit more umph and capacity.

I’m skipping all the auto detailing focused machines and building a Canpump 230v wall mount setup. Will be able to get 3-3.5 gpm and 2500psi for surface cleaning and then turn down the PSI for auto detailing.

I have had the same Home Depot Ryobi 2000 psi for the last 4 yrs & using it at least 3/4 days a week 6/8 hrs a day doing mobile detailing 😂but i take care of my pressure washer like i clean my truck😊 ... Uber flex hose 50 ft. (USUALLY dont need 50 ft but when you do, YOU DO 😂)... I purchased a ext. cord reel (Wal-Mart ) to help take care of and easy clean up to get to the next customer faster!!! And an Amazon hand gun that has the automatic lock ( RA), Amazon foam cannon, using the tips that came with the pressure washer.... SO Dont be afraid to make a living with avg. equipment ❤... I love making money doing what i love but i refuseeee to spend a lot of money on something i can get for less and get many years out of it and by then the "NEXT" gotta have is out...😂 Cheap quick connects 😂😂

@Keave, with electric pressure washers being so prolific, WHY haven't Foam Cannon makers optimized foam cannons to work at lower GPM Flow Rates eg. 1.3 to 1.5 or .6? Great video.

Before I spiral out of control I’m just gonna keep paying someone to wash and wax my car. It takes zero effort lmao. I got 4 cars and don’t have the time to waste washing myself, it cost me more money to take a day off work. Plus it’s a tax write off

Look for a 5 or 7 year warranty on pressure washers. That’s a company backing their products & components. 2 year warranty equals red flag 🚩.

Ryobi is awesome! It does everything I need to wash a car. It’s totally fine. I got 50Ft of uberflex hose and a short gun will a longer attachment piece and it’s been running now 2 years with weekend washes and no sigh of problems at all

I don't know about the same, but Ryobi for sure will get the job done no problem. Used one for years, but after trying out the bigger ones I wont ever go back. Its needs and wants just like anything else in life from shoes to coffee I could care less about expensive anything else except for car mods, detailing and lawn equipment. LOL

I like my Ryobi. But, it is only four years old and the foam handle has now fallen off. And I hardly ever use the pressure washer. WTF?
