Great to see The Snow Goose make your top 10. It doesn't just tell a fascinating story, the music captures the themes expressed by the author so beautifully I'm tempted to use a phrase I normally laugh at when I see it in comments sections. But if this isn't a timeless masterpiece I don't know what is.

Yeah, man. Cool show. 1975 was a groovilicious, nutritious and delicious year for all sorts of music. And films, too. Renaissance, Camel, Strawbs, Styx and The Phunky Pfloydsters are a few of my musical faves, just to scratch the surface, from 1975. Jaws, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and The Velour Shingle make up the motion picture aspect of my comment. Keep up the awesome work, bro. Looking forward to your non-Prog faves from ‘75. Cheers from The Big Apple. Rock Out, Prog On and Pogo! Your clone and mine, ~ The Distanced, Didactic, Dopamine Addicted Doppelgänger of Davey Cretin, from Cretin Classics.

I hadn’t realized what an incredible year 1975 was for music until everyone started talked about all these great albums from 50 years ago. My underrated pick is Brian Eno’s Another Green World. The summer of 1975 was a summer of transition for me. I turned 16 the same month my parents moved me from Missouri to South Carolina. My music tastes were in flux. And the neighbor friend with a car only had Wings' Venus and Mars on tape in the car. Wings give me the heebie-jeebies to this day. LOL Anyway, great list. You managed to give me a couple there I need to go back and check out. So much great music in 1975 that like you I had about 80 albums pulled to create my list which includes everything, not just prog. But there is plenty of prog. I ended up with a couple of surprises for myself. Rock out! 1. Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks 2. Ambrosia - debut 3. Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here 4. Steely Dan - Katy Lied 5. Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti 6. Chris Squire - Fish Out of Water 7. Head East - Flat as a Pancake 8. Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run 9. Renaissance - Scheherazade and Other Stories 10. Al Stewart - Modern Times 11. Triumvirat - Spartacus 12. Doobie Brothers - Stampede 13. Camel - The Snow Goose 14. Kansas - Song for America 15. Styx - Equinox 16. Journey - debut 17. Nazareth - Hair of the Dog 18. Robin Trower - For Earth Below 19. Jeff Beck - Blow By Blow 20. Kansas - Masque 21. Foghat - Fool for the City 22. Todd Rundgren - Initiation 23. Sebastian Hardie - Four Moments 24. Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic 25. REO Speedwagon - This Time We Mean It 26. Steve Hillage - Fish Rising 27. Frank Zappa and the Mothers - One Size Fits All 28. Jethro Tull - Minstrel in the Gallery 29. Jefferson Starship - Red Octopus 30. Atlanta Rhythm Section - Dog Days 31. Manfred Mann’s Earth Band - Nightingales & Bombers 32. Little Feat - The Last Record Album 33. Alice Cooper - Welcome to My Nightmare 34. The Outlaws - debut 35. Baker Gurvitz Army - Elysian Encounter 36. Crack the Sky - debut 37. Caravan - Cunning Stunts 38. Electric Light Orchestra - Face the Music 39. Supertramp - Crisis, What Crisis? 40. Eloy - Power and the Passion

I’m gonna have to scrape the bottom of the barrel and go for Prog adjacent albums. I’ll pick five so as not to bore you too much. So here we go with adjacent albums: 01. The Original Soundtrack-10cc 02. The Tubes-The Tubes 03. Face the Music-ELO 04. Futurama-Be Bop Deluxe 05. Bongo Fury-Frank I mentioned many of the albums on your list as well as mine on Sunday. But there were only so many releases so there’s a lot of crossover on everyone’s list I’m sure.
