Best PSVR Games (2020)

One of the best reasons to own a Playstation over rival consoles is still the PSVR headset, which now boasts a seriously stacked catalogue of games. Some are exclusive to the PS4, some are cross-platform, and here's the greatest titles you can download and play as we hit 2020.
Old classics like Astro Bot and Wipeout Omega Collection, not to mention Beat Saber and Firewall Zero Hour, definitely hold up well. However, this past year saw the launch of several great new PSVR games such as the endearing Everybody's Golf. If it’s a bit of clever puzzling that you’re after on the Playstation VR, then I highly recommend the impressively original A Fisherman’s Tale.
Fans of cute adventures like Moss should definitely check out Ghost Giant on the console. And, if you haven’t tried it yet, then Moss is still a brilliant showcase of what virtual reality can do, with a bit more action involved.
Arizona Sunshine is one of the most engrossing action/shooter games you'll find on the PSVR in 2020, with plenty of tension and exploration thrown in. There are scares aplenty in Resident Evil 7, but one of my favourite PS4 offerings is Blood & Truth, which emerged in 2019. The gunplay is sublime, and the story typically gritty.
Meanwhile some classics such as SuperHot VR still make it into this best games list - it's more of a balls-out arcade shooting title, albeit with clever slow motion trickery. Thumper is also one of my favourite downloads, and just as exhilarating.

@@vikaskumarpatel5017 the experience was great, but there is room for improvement in terms of clarity from psvr. I played it on a ps4 and ps4 pro, really not that much a perceivable difference from either. I would rate the overall experience a 8.5/10

PSVR can be a mixed bag as far as clarity goes with games. Personally, I thought Resident Evil was one of the better ones. Plus you're so scared most of the time, you're not thinking about the resolution at all. I also played all the way through in VR. The only way to play for me now.

Resident evil 7 was my very first VR game, I haven’t play a horror game since RE4 on the Dreamcast. I can say it change me too. It’s was very scary to play in the beginning once or twice I had to stop playing because me heart hurt to bad.

I’m right there with you on Astro Bot. I’ve had PSVR for six months or so, I’ve got around 20 games or so, and while I haven’t really played much I didn’t enjoy, there’s just something about Astro Bot. The gameplay is awesome, the graphics look great, and it’s overall just a really fun game. I also really enjoy Battle Zone, Wipeout, Superhot, Bloody Zombies, Time Carnage, Raw Data, RE7, and Blood & Truth. Those are the games I’ve put a lot of time into so far, I also have Skyrim, Batman, Doom, Arizona Sunshine, Tetris, and maybe five or so more games that I haven’t yet really gotten into but overall I’m thoroughly enjoying the VR and wish I would’ve picked it up years ago! One more awesome perk I wasn’t even aware of until two or three months after buying the VR, which I’m also really surprised isn’t really advertised much, is the ability to play 3D Blu Rays. While they’re rather hard to come across brand new in stores anymore, I’ve gathered a small collection through buying used and online, and I absolutely love it! Watching Marvel movies in 3D on my couch is just AWESOME! Thanks for the video!

Great list! PSVR is amazing, I haven't played anything but in over 2 years. According to my last 2 years of PS Year in Review I've got over 2400 hours in VR. The bulk of that is Firewall, No Man's Sky, To The Top and Skyrim. Although I've played over 200 VR titles.

I just got Astro Bot for my kids today. If you have a membership at gamestop, it cost $20 brand new, I also used my $5 coupon you get monthly, so it cost under $15! By far the best $15 game I've ever gotten!! I've played it more than the kids!!

Good list! I would add BoxVR as well. It really makes a fitness application feel like a true game. I've been playing 4 to 5 days a week for cardio. Took me some help from Reddit to calibrate it well, but once you figure it out it feels like having a boxing class in your home.

actually if the dizzyness is a problem the only thing i can recommend is putting a fan on your while you play. The heat of the headset does not help but its not entirely too hot. Play games that take place in open area's it tricks the mind and you dont see so many pixels creating the motion sickness. also create a tolerance. You may have too take the headset off for a hour or 2 almost after a short period, your mind will adapt and you wont have too remove it as often after creating a tolerance.

Blood & Truth is 50% shooting but that 50% is well done. Everybody’s Golf VR is impressive, not creepy at all! Astro Bot Rescue Mission looks stunning and deserves a sequel RE Biohazard, utterly terrifying Beat Saber, needs more diverse tunes, rock/metal please Firewall is one dimensional. More modes required Wipeout, very well presented Moss, not played it Arizona Sunshine still gives me motion sickness, not sure how or why but can’t play it more than 30 minutes at a time. Thumper is indeed punishing SuperHot is a matrix inspired must buy

My psvr head set came with Astro bot Skyrim vr re biohazard Everybody's golf And vr worlds But no move controllers and they where either out of stock everywhere Or over €100 however we managed to find a 2 pack and now I am extremely happy Also a month after I got it firewall zero hour came out for ps+ so I have that too

Sadly "Dark Eclipse" which was a great FREE 3D table top strategy game is no longer available. It was digital only so let that be a warning to those seeking Digital consoles. Eventually they'll shut access down and you won't be able to play certain games in any capacity. At least if you have a disk and the appropriate console you will be able to revisit old games you enjoyed. I can tell you I've started buying some PS3 games that I missed first time around and even the graphics still look good and gameplay is still extremley fun. I have a good collection of VR game sand almost all on disk. I hope the others I want will eventually come out on disk though....sadly they're currently digital only.

Console Gamer ace combat is just so much missed potential. Why not make the full game in Vr lmao? Playing on the tv after sitting in the Cockpit in Vr before was a huge let down. They basically made their game inferior by not adding Vr to all missions. Meh

i own about 85% of the psvr titles when a new one comes out i make it my hobby too spend as much time as possible. astro bot isnt bad but one i strongly recommend if you dont like skyrim style rpg. is Mervils Adventure. its amazing.

If you want a really good multiplayer e-sports vr game? i recommend Riggs:Mechanized Combat League. due too spending most the game time in Large outdoor arenas, you dont really feel the dizzyness. although ive spent so much time in vr i dont feel it at all anymore. I mean i can spend 16 hours or more. This game is amazing and fast. its got 3 different types of matches and they are all fun too play. It doesnt incorporate the psmove controllers but its head tracking aiming system totally creates a new fps experience. It's my second most favorite vr game.
