Not forgotten. When doing this video back then, I had to choose specific fans as we don't have the time to benchmark for multiple weeks with a 3-vid/week schedule. But in the near future we will start benchmarking every fan (also going backwards), on radiators of different thicknesses. Give it a few weeks and most of your list will come with stats and graphs.

I got like 10 of the p12 pwm pst and 5 of the p14 pwm pst. But now I switched to custom water cooling and using 3x 360mm radiators with just the p12s. The fans are really crazy value but they do have their faults with humming and whine at certain RPMs so that's why I asked which version he got. If I were to switch fans then I'd probably go for the a-rgb ones so I was just wondering if it was the rgb or argb that fixed the probs he previously had with the regular p12s. On the other hand I'm thinking of perhaps just getting all Noctua NF-A12x25 chromax fans but at $32.90 a pop I just can't justify it ... Edit: oh I'm not worried about the specs tho, be it regular/rgb/argb they're all fine in the regard lol

I can tell you the Phanteks T30 swapped onto my Corsair H60 AIO brought my CPU temperature down by 8 degC from the Corsair fan that came with the AIO, and at lower speeds. The stock fan was spinning at full speed the entire time my PC was on and was noticeably noisy. The AIO is mounted in the front panel of my SilverStone SG05BB-Lite mini-ITX case and I can barely hear the Phanteks T30 fan.

Because this video was filmed/done in May. We have some videos that we push back again and again because we prioritize the release of company-send products first. @DjRavix2 жыл бұрын
Hm … yeah I get why the phanteks T30’s take the lead … the fan is 20% thicker than the rest so you should actually take 20% off from the T30 it’s performance to get a more fair results The other thing I noticed is that for the A12X25’s it seems you did not use the included radiator mounting corners (since I only see the normal corners mounted to the fan) From what I know this improves the performance of the fan when used on a radiator
@Ilost112 жыл бұрын
Thickness doesn't scale necessarily, the same can be said for larger fan sizes. There are instances where a fan design in 120mm works great and the 140mm is less effective or inverse can occur. In addition, the EKWB Meltemi, a 38m (120mm) is noticeably worse than all the top performers on this list in noise normalized performance despite being noticeably thicker and being made specifically for static pressure radiator applications according to data from other testers. The Gentle Typhoons 1850, Nocuta A12s and Phanteks T30 are king.
@TheEchelon2 жыл бұрын
Why would you subtract 20% off? That's complete nonsense. You should test the fans as is, because that's the performance you get when installing them...
