They have to stop you in a way that you can't go anywhere now, or your constant uttering of "Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi" is stopped which means you gave up. @@TheMartianMan I'd rather say that made kabbadi more interesting cause earlier players used to waste time by having 1 to 1:30 mins raid when time nears end and they were on a lead of mere 3-4 poins I remember watching games finished with results like 9-0 even just cause they wasted the time on raid. Yeah original is original no way that can be replaced but making the game more fun and competitive by bringing in do or die raids and all made the game better in my opinion

Every raider has a 30 sec time limit. The raider needs to continuously chant the word "kabaddi" during the entire raid. The raider starts the chant and enters the opposite teams space. Now he/she has to either tag an opposite teams player and return to his side of court. If he/she is not able to tag someone they have to reach upto a certain line marked in opponents court and then can return safely back. So either you touch the safety line or tag a person and return back in 30 sec. If he/she does not do any one of these both then the raider is out. The opponents try to grab the raider and prevent him from returning to the his/her side of court. If the opponent touches the raider he is automatically considered tagged. So opponents have to be cautious while capturing the raider so that once the try to capture at no cost must raider return to his court or else all the people who have touched the raider are out. Also if during the raid if raider stops chanting the "kabaddi" word at any point he/she is considered out. The raids are alternatively done by each team. I hope this helps. :)

this game is all about scoring the points - when you for raid, you get 30 seconds to touch the other team members and need to be back in his area and you also need to speak kabaddi kabaddi continuously during this raid period, how many members you touch you get the points accordingly and all touched member would be out and same total number of players will be alive of your team.

A raid is when the person goes to attack the other team. You get 30 seconds to touch someone and cross the halfway line. There are 7 defenders at most at aside. the amount people touch a raider is at danger of being out (off-court) if the raiders get back to the halfway line. suppose a raider touches 3 people and get back not only do the defenders of the other team are out he gets to revive 3 of his own team members a bit different from dodgeball.

This game is thousands of years old. Recently, with the advent of Professional Kabaddi, a timer is used with a 30 second limit. Traditionally, still in use off of the professional courts, the timer is a single breath. The raider takes a deep breath and, as he crosses the line to raid, he begins to repeat the word "Kabaddi" continuously to prove he has not taken a second breath. He can continue the raid until he is trapped, or until he can no longer be heard to say "Kabaddi", before touching back across the line to his side.

There are many forms of it.. It's played a lot in Punjab.. The way it's played in Punjab is that.. The ground is oval.. Like the cricket field... And is a lot bigger than what u saw in this kabaddi.. Like it's bigger than 30 yard circle of cricket.. I can't say exact measurements.. In this only one defender can stop a raider.. If more than one defender touches the raider.. The defender is disqualified.. Actually it's actual play of power and speed.. One man for one.

Kabbadi is the official game of state Assam in India. I win 3 times best player award in my school. The rule is simple.you got 2 half of each 30 min.for each raid 30 sec you got and for every touch u got one point and eliminate that opposite player. There are 7 players in each team. The task for the raider is to try to touch as many folks as he can or cross the white line on the other teams half.
