Wondering about this range finder looking to upgrade from my 1600 only question I have is I’m a bow hunter/rifle hunter, will this do angles for bow hunting the 1600 has bow mode and TBR, does the 5000 TBR do both?

Impressive unit. I find it difficult to invest in equipment that is dependent on mobile devices and apps. I have been burned too many times. Is the unit fully functional without connecting to another device?

Yep, aside from the waypoint-projecting function the rangefinder is a fully capable stand-alone optic/rangefinder. No phone needed!

Sorry @AnonZero0 , you're right: it is poor... There was some unfortunate upload/transfer loss plus the durned camera focused on the microphone... We'll do better in the future!
