Thank you for what appears to be ~ by a great margin ~ the most unbiased and detailed comparisons of all such videos/Blogs/reports on Red Light Therapy that I have yet "discovered". I might be mistaken but i think you touched upon the Five Features Red Light Therapy Devices Should Have #1 Emitted Light Frequency #2 Power Density or Irradiance #3 Dosage #4 Treatment Coverage #5 Electromagnetic Field Levels I'm listening to another of your subsequent Video(s) as i write this comment, so I'm a tad distracted. It has been much work attempting to research and compare different products as there are (as well you know) so many technical details which are critical to have an effective treatment. YOUR VIDEOS ARE SUCH A VALUABLE RESOURCE as your videos have in-depth analyses....many of the more economically priced items which have ~ according to the comments on Amazon and other sites ~ have absolutely NO INSTRUCTIONS, no SAFETY equipment included and are purportedly very tippy or irritatingly LOUD. Kudos to you. Subbed. Thank you.

Alex - congrats on the completion of another comparison series! Two comments: the multi-chip discussion you missed a key benefit - the benefit is not just that you will generally have a better blend of light - but, in the case of the MitoPRO 1500X where there is a red and NIR chip under every lens, the benefit to the user is that you can make the ENTIRE PANEL red OR make the ENTIRE PANEL near infrared. The lack of gaps allows for better blend red only of NIR only (vs a single chip panel where NIR only mode is typically only ~50% of the lenses illuminated). Secondly, on the size category it really should've been LED count & SURFACE AREA not just width. All the best - Team Mito
@LightTherapyInsiders8 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for the comment. Multi chip - yes fair point. I may have to start doing tests on Red vs NIR power output to help highlight features such as this Size - I do explain my reasoning behind the scoring system in my upcoming extended version. But pretty much I personally value width over height. And if the panel has 300 LEDs plus it's wide = great coverage. If I have only one wide panel I can split my body into 4 quarters and treat each 1/4 at a time. With a thin tall panel it doesn't work as well. And if I get two wide panels and install them side by side, I then get a shoulder/shoulder setup. Or I can put one one top of the other and get a 6 foot x 1 foot setup. So i can do one half of the front of my body, then shuffle across and do the other half. I know it may be subjective, but IMO the wider the panels are better size. Also - if I measured using surface area, the wider panels would still come out on top. A 300 LED wide panel would have a higher surface area than a 300 LED tall panel. I just tested this myself. So I don't think the outcome for that round would be different anyway. I always appreciate and welcome the feedback! So keep it coming, it's good for all to see.
@JMSsssssss8 ай бұрын
@MitoRedLight I've been paying attention to Alex's reviews for a couple of years. I haven't bought one yet because I want a wide panel. I reached out to you before and you said you have no plans to offer one. I like your company, so that's disappointing.
@MitoRedLight8 ай бұрын
@@JMSsssssss Thanks for the feedback. Our MitoPRO Mega X is 17 inches wide. Our MitoPRO+ Mega is 17 inches wide. Our MitoADAPT Mega is 20 inches wide. These are all XL panels with 600 LED lenses. As far as 300 LED lenses, we have our MitoMEGA (part of our Original 2.0 series) which is 12 inches wide. For the PRO 1500s we went a bit narrower and longer because the most common piece of feedback we heard on our MitoMAX and MitoMEGA was "That panel is only 36 inches long, how can it be 'full body'". So the PRO 1500X is 43 inches long to give much better up and down coverage. We feel this is a superior size and shape for a full body panel to be used on the back of a door or in a floor stand. Best - Team Mito

We have concerns with using 1060nm light on the face as 1060nm is used in medical settings for fat loss. Fat loss in the face can be permanent and accelerates aging, so we don't feel the risks outweigh the potential benefits. We are developing a 1070nm intranasal light which allows for delivering these longer wavelengths of light to the brain without the risk of facial fat loss. We are also beta-testing a belt with 1060nm specifically designed for fat loss. We have more information on our blog entitled "Does Adding More Wavelengths to a Red Light Therapy Device Make it Better?". Hope that helps - Team Mito

Hey Alex! Just recently stumbled across your red light therapy videos. I have never tried RLT, but have recently stumbled on to it and have been researching. I’m 38 and have struggled with my skin since puberty. Prone to acne, occasional rashes, very oily skin, large pores, rosacea, hyperpigmentation… not severe at the moment, but definitely not where I want my skin to be. I had been researching the masks for skin, but have since heard of all the full body benefits RLT can bring to the table. Starting to feel a panel is the better option and tends to have a much better warranty. Part of me wants to go big or go home, but from a much more affordable standpoint, maybe start with a tabletop panel Lol. I would totally be your guinea pig for your research on skin!

The Biomax has Zero pulsing. How on earth can that possibly beat Block Blue Light? Tuning forks work because of frequency. Everything is vibrating. Sound waves and light waves both affect the body, pulsing is of the utmost importance. Biomax can be considered the best of the old style of panels, that don’t pulse. It’s that important. Please watch your own video with the Irradiance guy. Good channel Alex!
@LightTherapyInsiders7 ай бұрын
Hey! Yeah fair enough. I mean its so tricky finding the perfect panel - it's so objective. But the beauty is - you can apply your own scoring formula and decide for you what is the best option. Personally, I don't use or rate pulsing. But I still scored for it in the video. The Biomax lost points in this round but it scored so well in other areas it still managed to (just) come out on top! Platinum Biomax's pricing is very deceptive -- on top of the $1,234 price, their remote (not included) costs $169, and their stands range from $114 for the tiny table panel to $799 for the best floor model. So $1,542 for a 9,000, remote, and basic floor stand.

Most of the panels do not come with floor stands. I believe the only one that does is the Rojo 900.

Using the two 900's side-by-side on a wheeled dual TV stand (it works perfectly and 1/3 of the price of the stand the companies sell), and the 600 between two 450's on the other side. Alex, do you explain the irradiance of the red lights you've tested? what does "irradiance" mean exactly? What is the significance of "irradiance"? My understanding of Irradiance is the effect of mW/cm2 number is based on how close you need to be to the light panel to receive the most effect, and I've seen some panels listing their irradiance numbers at 1cm distance. So their irradiance number is high, but in order to have that effect you need to be 1cm away from the panel, and that's just too close for me! Please help me know if this understanding is correct. Hi, Originally (before this great review) i was thinking of the Platinum Biomax but now i am considering the Rojo (although they are very new to this market so unsure whether to take the risk). I don't think Alex's discount code applies to the Rojo Refine series. Is that correct? FYI...Most of the Rojo Refine products are out of stock with no ETA currently.
@LightTherapyInsiders8 ай бұрын
Hey. The code should work. If it doesn’t let me know. And yeah they are out of stock but so are a lot of the companies! Block blue light, cytoled, even platinumled is short stock. So you may have to wait a few weeks whenever you go with. I was Chatting to the Rojo founder this morning, he said he’s working over time to get stock and will know more about their inventory status in a day or 3. So maybe jump on their email list or just flick them an email asking for an update. As for the risk of them being new - yes this is a concern for some and why I included a scoring section in my video on this. But this is their second gen panel. They have sold many first gen ones (I have reviewed two of them) and there hasn’t been any issues. They also have the backing of SunStream Saunas Australia - who have been operating for many years and have sold a lot of saunas.

Very informative, great vid if you are looking for your next purchase. Last category price was a bit of a farse, scoring the cheapest the highest! At least compare price by watts, energy output! All other comparisons were spot on though!!
@LightTherapyInsiders7 ай бұрын
Hey. Well I think price is the key objective here. And a good quality panel that comes in at a good price, will then move up the ladder. But still a terrible panel is going to be low on the overall standings anyway. I think it was the best way to score it. If I were to do a price per watts (which I have done in the past) then I'm putting more weighting on a panel that puts out a lot of watts. I.e. it's being scored twice - and a panel with a high power output will get an extra boost. The thing is, if someone doesn't care about the price, they can just see the standings before that round and make a decision from there. If they have a hard limit on price, they can rule out panels above that price and select the best of the panels that remain etc. I do thank you for the commend and feedback. I'm always trying to improve these videos. In previous videos I did have a value score, but dropped it for 2024 for the reasons outlined above.
