Nananan.. He sounds like a Korean or possibly Japanese, teenager that just went through his puberty voice change, and is for some reason, studying both Hindu, French and maybe some Slavic language as well, at the same time.. 🤔😁😆😉👌 To mean? Hehe.. Just yanking your chain man! Although.. truth be told.. this is what you sound like to me. Hence, why I wrote it. Coz I'm a brutally honest person with almost no filters left. sorry.. lol! And you really need to practise your pronunciation, because apart from being very tiresome to listen to, I couldn't even understand some parts of what you were saying, like at all.. Even though I "5 sec" rewinded like 5-7 times for some parts, to get it.. So I guess, my question to you is.. Where are you from and why this strange mix of accents?? Not trying to be a d*uche here or anything, just being curious..🤔 Pretty good video overall otherwise. Although the specs of at least the M270 MLRS and it's missile selection, was not completely correct nor up to date. You forgot a couple of missiles and also I never heard of these 32 and 45 km short range ones. So if those stats are correct, then props to you for mentioning them. But Like I said. You missed a few.. Here's what another viewer of yours “Ari Lehtiniemi”, wrote: M270 MLRS can fire guided rockets (GMLRS) to 80 km, guided extended range rockets (GMLRS-ER) to 150 km, GLSDB missiles to 150 km (12 of them) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM) to 500+ km (4 of them). Two pods, so can use different combos. And here's what I wrote down from another YT vid about the M142 / M270 MLRS launchers and their missile arsenal: HIMARS / MLRS launchers - Have both 80 km and 150 km missiles that you can fit six of in each pod. JBU-39 (small diameter glide bomb) There’s a new rocket propelled smart glide bomb which can be fired from the HIMARS/MLRS systems. 150 km range. Two versions. One for stationary targets and one for moving. (He did not say how many per pod. Looked like maybe one per pod, but could be six actually, if one play/pause studder at around 2:51 in the vid. The ATACMS missiles have a range of either 130 km or 300 km. Precision 20 meters. The PrSM (Precision strike missile) A slimed down and improved version of the ATACKMS missiles. It has an increased range of 500 km. And is “believed”? to have increased accuracy. Can fit two missiles per pod.

The name of this MLRS, "Jahanam", literally means "hell". Not sure though, this one word has made it into the Indian vocabulary in this form but maybe in its original language in Arabia, it means something else? But this MLRS itself seems like a stupid idea to me. Rather than putting all launcher turrets on different trucks to maximize survivability and mobility, like all other MLRS do, they put all launcher turrets on the same damn truck. One lucky shot from a hostile counter battery fire action and your entire MLRS regiment is done for. It only looks good for propaganda. Not practical at all.

I’m not sure that counts for an objective assessment as: specs do not directly translate into real world performance as those values are obtained under ideal conditions. Additionally, manufacturers often manipulate the data on provided specs to sell their weapon systems or meet requirements by the purchasing entity. Unless you have data from actual combat deployments where weapon systems were used to confirm their performance then you basing your scores or evaluations on hypotheticals.

@death_parade4 жыл бұрын
@@iloveindia1586 Pinaka has a proven rocket with guidance. Older rockets were unguided, and unguided rocket artillery still has its place, but newer orders by Indian Army will be of both guided and unguided rocket pods. Pinaka is considered inferior because of range. What most people don't realize is that DRDO has also built Prahaar SSM which is a guided Missile with range of up to 200 km and Prithvi missiles can handle ranges beyond that. We also have Brahmos for targets upto 600 km. DRDO has also tested Shaurya missile with ranges of 750 and 1500 km in different flight modes (depressed trajectory and full parabolic trajectory). But the Indian Army does feel the need to use Shaurya missile yet. If required, Shaurya can also be produced in great numbers. All these missiles have top notch guidance system. Even US Army does not have an equivalent system. Their best system is the ATACMS which falls far short of what the Prithvi and Brahmos can do in terms of both range and payload. This is not because USA could not do it. Its because US Army does not feel the need for that capability yet. Just like Indian Army does not use Shaurya missile despite having it. Its a matter of doctrine. Now I know Prithvi is a very old missile, which is why its being replaced with a new missile DRDO is developing. This missile is called Pralay and is about to begin testing by 2021. Pralay is 500 km range and has very unique warheads that no other MLRS in the world has till date. That warhead is called MLPGM (Missile Launched Precision Guided Munition). So Indian rocket artillery, and even field gun artillery is second to none. The only drawback is the lack of funds for modernization which are hampering larger scale introduction of these weapons in the Indian Army. This last problem will be solved progressively as Indian economy grows, leading to better allocations for Defence expenditure.
