Sambal ingredients:
15 dried red chillies
150g washed anchovies, for garnish
50g washed anchovies, slightly pounded
4-5 garlic, slightly pounded
1 tomato, chopped
1 yellow onion, sliced
1/2 tsp salt
1 tosp sugar
3 tosp tamarind water
Method:
1. Boil and soak the dried chilies for 15 minutes. Then add them into the blender, blend until a smooth paste forms, and set it aside.
2. Heat 1/2 cup of oil, fry the 150g anchovies until golden and crispy, remove from the heat, and set them aside.
3.) Using the same oil, sauté the blended chili paste for about 8-10 minutes over low heat. Then add the pounded garlic, anchovies, chopped tomato, sugar, and salt.
4. Cook for another few minutes. Lastly, add the sliced yellow onion and tamarind water. Stir well to mix, and it's ready to serve.

Di Indonesia ada banyak jenis batu giling tradisional, yang seperti ini banyak digunakan pada masyarakat provinsi Aceh. Untukku yang terbiasa memakai batu giling tradisional Jawa, ini sangat sulit memakainya 😅 namun kamu memegang cabai seperti sangat profesional

Wow terbaik memasak cara tradisional guna cili kering digiling dengan batu giling begini. Teringat mak2 dulu2 masak beginilah. Ini baru benar sambal ikan bilis sejati dimakan dengan nasik lemak bukan macam sekarang sambalnya terasa kosong terlalu banyak air. Jarang jumpa sambal ikan bilis begini kini...

Lama x nmpk org giling cili guna batu giling. Batu giling arwah mak dulu dr dia kawin hg dia dah takde msh elok lg. Tp tlh dicuri org semasa rmh mak dirobohkn kerana anai2..nak bt rmh baru. Selain batu giling batu boh utk haluskn beras jgk hilang. Katil besi yg antiq ada 2 jgk hilang. Sedih kami adik beradik. Brg2 kenangan arwah mak hilang. Kami ddk jauh dr kg.
