This movie affected me so much, I never forgot it and never will. I've been sort of obsessed with time travel and even prayed to God asking Him to let me do it. Like any other physical force it should be able to be manipulated and used. We could undo any mistake we made. Imagine that. Could that be heaven?

But Carlos shouldn't have been able to remember him before that. Was Carlos then put in a sort of time vortex with Evan? Why then wasn't the woman in the 1st scene given the same dual timeline memory?

Everyone should read the novelization of this. It better explains that Evan is not in county jail, but state prison after being wrongfully convicted of murder. And later there is a scene where he goes back in time and saves Carlos from himself.
