I love using grape seed oil. It's really light and does a good job sealing my hair.

I just recently discovered that my hair likes grapeseed oil. I use coconut oil and olive oil for pre-pooing.

I'm also stocked with almond oil. My skin and hair absolutely love it. Not a fan of coconut though it makes my hair dry and brittle so I have like a whole container of it just sitting lol.

+Candy Rockets a lot of people say this, I never had a problem but so many people say coconut oil is horrible on their hair! Almond oil is a must ❤️

I think it might be the protein. I'm assuming I may be protein sensitive because when I do DCs with coconut or anything with heavy Protein it dries and breaks my hair off. The only thing that works as my DC are bananas.

That TJs oil was the first I used as well. I love it but I no longer live close enough to one to use it regularly. Right now my favorites are castor oil and safflower oil. I also really like avocado, apricot, and grapeseed oil.

I'll have to try out Apricot oil, a lot of people swear by that oil

I haven't used jojoba oil in months, and I need to re-up. I'm always using Jamaican Mango & Lime Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil Lavender to seal my flat twists and cornrow braids, and take them down with Spectrum Organic Virgin Unrefined Coconut Oil. I use this same coconut oil to pre poo my hair along with a rinse out conditioner. I want to try Aura Cacia Sweet Almond Oil. My hair gets weighed down easily too, so I can't use to much oil on it.

I use a method called the rinse-out oil method, and I use about 10 drops (no more!!!) of J&J baby oil (mineral oil) for that, on the last 3/4 inches of my hair (it's butt length). It is *wonderful* when used in small quantities. You do it after shampooing, and before conditioner. I apply the conditioners (I use 2 different ones after washing) after and it doesn't leave a greasy residue. It's really a great oil + method! Not to be used on the scalp, though. You'll be washing that out like *forever*! LOL
