Looks like the shivworks clinch pick that's on Warrior Poet society web site for like 150$
@BloodGrooveKnives2 жыл бұрын
It does, but the clinch pick is only single-edged, unless you buy the custom version for $419, compared to this at $230. Also, I believe the clinch pick is a little smaller, at least the handle might be.

@@BloodGrooveKnives Got any recommendations for a budget friendly EDC/ self defense fixed blade?? And nice video .
@BloodGrooveKnives2 жыл бұрын
@@stevejackson9952 For a similarly sized fixed blade, one knife that has always appealed to me is the Knives of Alaska Cub Bear caping knife with the Suregrip handle. It’s small, and appears that it would work for both EDC and self-defense, and is only about $60. With both the Sakit and Cub Bear, you’re not going to get a big handle; the Sakit is 4” and the Cub Bear is 3.375” so that’s something to be aware of, but the Cub Bear has room to choke up on the blade, and they both have a 2.25-2.5” cutting length. Compared to the Sakit and Clinch Pick, the Cub Bear is a great value. I just might have to finally get one for myself now that you have me thinking about it again. Let me know what you think about that option. Here’s a video of it in hand: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3LGnHawdtiYaMk

Where can I find this to purchase? I'm only finding the single edge online.
@BloodGrooveKnives2 жыл бұрын
When you click on the link for the SAKIT, there are two pictures, one single-edged and one double-edged. I suppose if they were in stock you’d have the choice to choose which option. Maybe try sending them an email. I wouldn’t suggest calling because in an interview I watched, they can’t hear the phone over the shop noise. www.jbknifeandtool.com/Sakit

Pikal grip. Similar to clinch pick
@BloodGrooveKnives2 жыл бұрын
Yes, similar. It’s about 3/4” longer, which probably fits my XL hand better than the clinch pick.

@@BloodGrooveKnives I have small hands. On DEC 23 2021 I spent $274 on a fixed blade online purchase. We have been emailing and they can't get me that blade, is there another I want instead? So tonight I've picked 10 blades I would accept instead....which means SOMEthing new next month...my buddy owns a tattoo shop. Says his wife buys black boots, more and more black boots....guess we have something in common. Blades make me happy. I don't "need" more....but I love them

You actually carry that tip up on the waistband.
@BloodGrooveKnives2 жыл бұрын
This is meant to be carried vertically as evidenced by the position of the ulticlip. Although it appears that it also could be carried horizontally like a Clinch Pick if you wanted to.

What pisses me off is that the materials used to make the clinch pick are less than the price of the product wtf dude u could at least price it a Lil bit more reasonably
