First thing in the morning, I’m working on designs, listening to Chris talk, and feeling so appreciative. Thank you for taking us designers beyond “design”, pushing our boundaries, and inspiring us.

I felt like a Challenger for the first 45min until Chris asked his personal question and I was not only impressed by the answer but actually learned something I considered useful, which tuned me into my Teacher mode (as in, motivated to learn so I can share the knowledge).

I’m so glad this video came back up on my page. I wanted to buy the book when I first heard this but couldn’t find it. Very glad I could find it this go-round as well. I’m very excited to see what these communication profiles are about. This conversation made me want to know which one I was.

6:35 I would argue that most people actually are, but learned to forget with schooling. A dog, for instance, needs not to know what you say to understand what you mean (tone, energy, body language, etc.) when mad. Or even that you need not know what is said to know what two foreign people are saying to identify that they’re arguing.

41:44 omggggg "how much do you want to grow" this needs to be highlighted and shouted from rooftops (or maybe because this is my struggle i feel that strongly) currently a graphic designer at a company and working on rebranding them. Im challenged by their feedback and sometimes what they want isnt a good idea at least in the full blown manner they are requesting, and i struggle to find a way to educate and persuade and also "yessir" attitude. I think asking them "how much do you want to grow/elevate?" And respond with " i can be nice and get you the brass tax of things as you need them as you ask them. Or i can use my expertise and knowledge and elevate your brand" (implying that if they want the higher goal, less niceness and more feedback on my part will be given) and if they want it just simple then at least i know the expectation, if they want more then the expectation that i will challenge things more to achieve the higher goal is now laid out

This was enlightening! Love this shift in perspective of communicating in frequencies. I feel like creativity and connecting with imagination is already a frequency but learning to harness all the various archetypes seems powerful. Thanks for this Chris!

being a sales rep in pharma i see so many similarities. Many techniques of verbal and non-verbal communication I've learned are similar or overlap. the child is just given a different name. :). When i think of distinguish different personality types ( with discovery insights f.e. , red ,yellow, blue type...) i see strong parallels to what is said here. Exciting and inspiring, because I can connect the dots like painting by numbers.. Thank you so much for this great video.

Interesting talk, as a filmmaker I do have some questions: Erwin mentioned that he found that all these TV-Characters act from the Shadow Frequencies and that this is a problem for our Communities since we adapt from TV. So I was wondering, would a Story even be interesting when everyone was acting from love? Surely there is a reason why in these successful TV-series, the characters act from the shadow side. I personally feel like audiences don't want to feel like everything is flowers, they want to feel like crying, since they rarely feel these emotions themselves or really like to feel these negative emotions. What are your thoughts on this? Would love to hear insights from anyone in the community! Hug Wito✌

What an amazing extraordinary interview. It resonated to the deepest lvl of my being and I definitely even without doing the assesment can see what are the communication frequencies within me. And I realised how often I switch those consciously and unconsciously . Maven was the one that resonated deeply but also all the others like interchangeably stepping in and out deepening on the situations ;) Thank you both for this beautiful remembering
Wonderful content as always. Chris you do so many wonderful and correct things with your content. If you were not aware before I’m sure you are now, the limitations of the sure SM series microphone used this way. It would be my honour to help you dial in a better sounding face to face system that meets all your needs if you like. (One of my many backgrounds is being an audio engineer. ) It’s the least I can return for you providing such value to everyone. Peace and love to all your team and their families. 🙏❤️
