Thanks again Travis! I'm not a seoi player but I love watching these videos so I can learn to counter seoi players!

Love your content Travis. What other tools do you have as a prep before entering all throws please. Keep it coming bro.

Thanks! Maybe I should make a video on how I prepare my throws.

This is awesome. I play more Harai/uchi mata, but saw Kosei Inoue mix it into his judo from time to time. It seems like a great technique to develop as a surprise attack

Hi Travis, thanks for showing one of my favorite techniques. Most of the time you learn that through the preparatory technique (Ko Ushi) an opening of the legs wants to provoke. But you use the technique to rotate your partner with the help of your arms. Is there a special reason for this rotation or repositioning?
@TravisStevensgrappling4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it helps create a bigger opening and also disguise the second technique by changing the angle of attack!

Every BJJ cult fanatic focuses on the ground game after the throw but forgets about this: when this technique is performed in a real life situation and you hit the concrete you'll be paralyzed and won't be able to pull you Ninja rolls. Kimoura planned to knock Gracie only with Osoto garis but Gracie cheated and changed the tatami and fooled many people (including me) that throws have little effect and pulling guard is how men fight.

Thanks Travis. I was just showing my daughter this and adapting it for wrestling. If she can.work it out it will be a good takedown in her arsenal.

Who would be best at throws/reaps/sweeps between a judoka and a freestyle wrestler in no gi?
@TravisStevensgrappling4 жыл бұрын
That depends on the player and there style not everyone can translate and not all great wrestlers have throws/sweeps/reaps
@Alexsnakedoc4 жыл бұрын
@@TravisStevensgrappling thank you for the reply Travis. Would you say in general a wrestler is better at sweeps and reaps in no gi or a judoka? In general based on what you have seen.
