Great job explaining the Elite Fs unit! I like how you show what the different settings do and look like instead of other channels saying, just set all your settings like this... They don't show you what it does with video like you do. Thanks for a great explanation!

I have a Lowrance Elite FS - I have a problem? I have a hard time seeing the sonar screen while sunny and wareing sunglasses. Any tips? I have to bend down put my face right up to screen while shading area as best I can with my hand. Its like running blind when your driving boat do to not being able to see screen. It's the glare.

Thanks for watching and that’s a great question! Change your screen color, when it’s sunny I prefer green, if it’s cloudy I prefer blue. Just mess around until the color you prefer works!

I have a question can you do the custom setting on the maps on the Lowrance elite 7ti

You can but you must have C-Maps installed via chip insert or download. Although Lowrance maps do not have the option to adjust water level like Humminbird units. Hope that helps and thank you for watching!!!!!

Hello. I have the 3-1 transducer and my image of sides are very poor. Also it shows me 200khz and 83khz and High Chirp and Medium Chirp only. When side scan it shows 455khz. Yours is working on 800khz and it is clear view of sides. What do I have to purchase to have yours options on my screen?

Great question and thank you for watching! You already have these options on your unit, just select frequency on your unit and then select the kHz you wish to use. Side note make sure your 2D sonar is not on high chirp when you go to select side and down imaging as the selected side and down imaging will be unavailable as the transducer cannot run high chirp with the other two frequencies. @@coltonposeyfishing ok. Now is clear to me. You are using the HD etc. one that it requires a module S3100. Mine is a classic one of Navico active image that it came with it in to the package. Thank you in advance for your immediate response!! JG

On 5-8-23 i called for tech support I was no.18 in line after 30 minutes I hung up and tried to fix my self I called back now no.27 in line after 1.52 minutes i got to talk to some lady that new nothing about hook2 4x after 30 minutes I asked for tech supervisor she hung up on me but called me back 10 minutes later.then made the transfer and now no. 7 in line after 1.45 minutes Im next in line, oh no it's 5pm and they hung up lowrance closed up for the day. If you buy any of their products and have problems I warned you.
